      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Great for any skin, not too greasy and it isn't irritating!

I do love buying body lotions and moisturisers however I'm the type that although I love purchasing them and the thought of them benefiting my somewhat dry skin I actually hate the process of applying them, particularly in this cold weather. I think there's nothing much worse than feeling all soggy! However I saw this in my local Boots priced at £25.00 and decided to treat myself to it purely because I already own the Gucci Envy perfume and I do like stuff that matches!

      The Packaging:

200ml tall oblong white plastic bottle with a matching shaped lid that twists on and off with ease. On the front of the bottle I'm told in silver writing that it is Gucci Envy Body Lotion (Lait pour le corps) and the size is stated which is 200ml (6.8 fl oz). That's it. That's all the information given making this a nice sleek but plain looking bottle.

      The Body Lotion Itself:

Well the lotion is a white colour and although it runs out of the bottle well it does have body to it and isn't just like coloured water. You don't need much of this and I always use a small amount and work it into my skin, adding more as I go of course.

Smell wise, well like the perfume I think this is best suited to daytime use. It is a a blend of hyacinth, magnolia, lily of the valley, jasmine, violet, iris and musk and to me is like a white flower composition, light and airy but although light, clean and fresh smelling it is rich and layered and holds it fragrance incredibly well.

It blends into the skin like a dream, soaks in in seconds leaving no feeling on the skin at all and because it is so quick drying I can dress almost straight after application.

It leaves my skin beautifully fragranced and like I have already mentioned that smells holds and I'd say I can smell this for hours on my skin. Also whilst it's on the skin my skin is left feeling gently hydrated and supple and like it an breath.

      Overall:

Yes it's expensive but I can see why it is. Although this smells very much like the Gucci Envy Perfume it's slightly softer in it's approach meaning you don't have to simply use this with the matching perfume if you don't want to and for me this is great product to wear alone too if you wish! I use this before I go to bed at night and I smell and feel wonderful.

As far as I'm aware this is also available in a 50ml size though I haven't personally clapped eyes on it myself (only online) and I bought my bottle for £25.00 in Boots as I mentioned earlier. Yes it is expensive but everything about it from the ease of application, how much you need and the gorgeous fragrance all in all my skin and I absolutely love it!
