~ Euthymol Toothpaste ~ From the very first time you see the packaging , you know that there is something different about this toothpaste . The package aesthetics are olde worlde , perhaps Victorian in appearance . A basic white box with simple dark green scrolling design with the brand name in bright red . Then you notice the words " A scientific dental preparation" .Because of its simplicity you are immediately drawn to it . Inside the box you find the toothpaste which is contained within a metal tube - the only plastic you find here is the screw cap , all in outer box matching graphics. Earlier this evening I was looking for inspiration for an op. My gaze fell on the toothpaste I had just bought. How many of you have tried Euthymol? It is bright pink toothpaste with a vicious sting, which I find cleans my teeth like no other. A lot of people don?t like the taste, and it certainly takes some getting used to. My father has used it for as long as I remember as our dentist suggested it when he had gingivitis. He was very keen that we should have good teeth and tried very hard to make us use it. Being obedient children we did, sometimes! As youngsters we hated it and pleaded with our mother to get Colgate for us! It is hard to describe the ...

"original" Euthymol toothpaste A Scientific Dental Preparation Basic facts: Sold in a art nouveau-style box in red, green and white. Old fashioned looking, but reassuringly natural and looks like good quality. It's apink paste inside metal tube; smells herbally medicinal: cloves, aniseed and perhaps a drop of eucalyptus oil? May stain clothing though, so beware. The ingredients don't list any herbal oils, just "aroma" which could be from anything I suppose. oh, and contains saccharin made by pfizer (pharmacutical giant) price around £1 for 75ml. usually over £1 though. ...
