I have to admit I've become addicted to Fake Bake. I used to be of the opinion that £18 was too much to pay for a bottle of fake tan, especially when things like Holiday Skin were so much cheaper. But that all changed two years ago! One of my friends has gorgeous slightly tan skin the whole year round. She also uses fake tan, so she would come in to uni a little darker. I assumed she had been to a sun bed, but no, it was Fake Bake. She recommended I try it and I was hooked. ~*~*~What is Fake Bake?~*~*~ Fake Bake is a self tanning lotion which contains natural ingredients, none of which are harmful to the skin. It contains a colour ... Read the complete review

Now there's something I'm going to share with all of you on DooYoo, I'm a complete fake tan addict and I don't have a problem in telling you that. I think pretty much everyone looks better with a bit of a tan and I'm definitely no exception to that rule. In fact I can't even bare the thought of going on a night out or seeing my friends without a good coating of fake tan to take away that pale and pasty look I seem to sport for about nine months of the year! I've finally got past the stage of thinking that sun beds are a good idea and now stick to the bottled tan, although whether or not this is scientifically any safer I'm not actually sure. I've been using ... Read the complete review

I am dark haired with very pale skin, what some would call English Rose, I call, unfortunate result of a father with dark hair and dark skin and mother with blonde hair and pale skin - I got the wrong combination. When i go on holiday I simply do not colour. I don't tan, I don't burn. I just stay pasty. So every summer I like to try fake tanning myself. being so pale I have to be careful not to go orange, or use something that will make me look dirty rather than lightly tanned. I've tried gradual tanners and never liked them, so thought I would try Fake Bake. I would now never buy anything else. It's perfect for my skin. Applying it is ... Read the complete review

Fake Bake Self Tanning Lotion is a perfect "on the night" product as the tan does not have to develop. For approx £18 you get about four whole body applications which works out at £4.50 per use whic is much cheaper than going to a salon for a spray tan. The bottle recommends that you exfoliate and moisturise before use which is similar for all self tan products - both of which you can by from the fake bake brand but are not necessary as other cheaper brands are available. It advises to always use gloves (unless you like orange hands) and to wait 20 mins before dressing or going to bed, so make sure you have your central heating on over ... Read the complete review

I have light features but my skins I would say is fair/medium, so I do tan but only on holiday and when I was about 18 became addicted to sunbeds, big mistake, not only did it cost loads! I was going on everyday and just ruining my skin, I now have quite a lot of dark patches and loads of freckles on my face and I hate them! But the main thing that converted me is my nanan developed skin cancer and Thats when I realised enough is enough and decided to invest in a good fake tan instead of baking my body. My mum bought me a bottle of fake bake for christmas and when I first applied It I thought "wow, this is good" then about 3 day later after several ... Read the complete review
