Good exfoliator for normal/dry skin (Fcuk Polished Sugar Scrub)
Member Name: emmi2009
Advantages: Smell and quite cheap Disadvantages: Not good for really dry skin I love French Connection and usually for clothes but being someone that loves to try out new products i have tried this and i think it's really reasonable in price - it was about five pounds although i'm sure if you shop about you could get it cheaper - i got mine in the actualy french connection store on a bit of an impulse buy after a friend recommended it but i believe the range is also sold in Boots. It says it contains jojoba oil, wild strawberry oil and sweet almond oil which i know from years ago working in body shop are all quite moisturising products and good for normal to dry skin. It's really easy to use and i used it with my exfoliating gloves for maximum effect. It smells lovely, really fruity and exotic and is a great consistency for exfoliating. I did moisturise afterwards as although my skin felt really smooth it did feel a little tight so perhaps this wouldn't be suitable for people with really dry skin but i quite liked it. I haven't bought it since as i like to try new things but i would definitely recommend it and wouldn't say no to another pot! Lots of exfoliators often leave a grainy residue in the bath or shower but as this one contains sugar to exfoliate it wasn't too bad and hardly left any residue at all. Summary: Would make a great gift |
