Advantages: Rich, Creamy, Fabulous scent, Easily absorbed.
Disadvantages: Hard to find.
Products from the range of FcuK body care products are some of my favourites and I am always quite excited to receive them at Christmas. The product I am about to review is the FcuK Polished Whipped Body Cream.
The Body Cream comes in a massive 300ml screw top tub. Even before opening the tub I can see that it is a good quality product, the tub is a blush rose colour with a black screw top lid. The writing on the tub tells me that this is a 'Rich and luxurious cream' that 'Melts easily' and is 'Packed full of Ingredients that ensure lasting hydration'. On the back of the tub is a massive list of ingredients which, if you have allergies, I advise you read through before purchasing. Happily the tub is fully recyclable.
The scent of the Body Cream is positively heavenly combining extracts of Orange Blossom, Pomegranate, Shea Butter and Sweet Almond Oil. It is described as a 'warm and sensual scent that blends Mandarin and Osmanthus flowers with creamy Vanilla notes'. I love to smell the Body Cream and could quite happily have my nose in the tub most of the day. I can not pick out any one particular scent but the combination of ingredients make for a wonderful aroma.
I feel the Polished range of products is more suited to Autumn and Winter as the scent is quite heavy and warming, I prefer something lighter and floral for the Summer.
The Body Cream is a rich looking cream colour and the consistency of the cream is buttery and smooth and is very quickly absorbed into my skin. I don't suffer from dry skin but I can feel the difference this Body Cream makes. My skin fools smoother and softer and looks nourished, it seems to have a bit of a glow after applying.
The Body Cream does not take long to be absorbed so I can start getting dressed almost immediately after applying.
I like to layer the Body Cream with shower gel and body spray from the FcuK Polished range for a lasting scent. I would say the Body Cream keeps my skin hydrated throughout the day; there is no need to reapply between showers.
The only downside to the Body Cream for me is that it is in a tub, when I scoop some cream it gets under my nails and I have to spend a bit of time removing it.
I can't find the Body Cream in Boots any more and neither is it available on the FcuK website. I will have to be satisfied with the tub and a half I have left or have to source it off eBay.
Thank you for reading.
Summary: One of my favourite bodycreams for the Winter.
