Advantages: Great Smell, Works Well, Good Packaging and Price

Disadvantages: Not Very Moisturising, Not Antibacterial, Not the Thickest We've Had

When we ran out of handwash in between the wife's Avon orders recently, we got this in instead. We had three bottles as it's normally £1 per bottle, but the offer at the time was three bottles for £2.50 which was a little saving for us. I've checked the Tesco website for current prices and found that the same offer is being run again at present time, so I imagine this is something they'll do frequently.

My first impressions of this were pretty good. It's not quite as thick as our usual Avon handwash is, but it's almost there. It's certainly by no means as thin and watery as those cheap 50p handwashes are that you can get. The pump dispenser works really well and is easy to use, which I think is incredibly important when you're choosing a handwash. There's nothing worse than going to wash your hands in a hurry only to find the darn thing won't work!

This lathers up really nicely and quickly, and I only need to pump the dispenser once to get all the soap I need. I really like the smell of this too. It's strong, definitely of pink grapefruit and it stays lightly on my hands after use without being too powerful or girly even. I don't think it's the most moisturising hand soap out there. The Mrs has said that she likes this but thinks her Avon ones leave her hands feeling a bit softer after use. Me, I can't say I've noticed all that much myself.

I think we'll continue to use our Avon ones in the long run, but for a quick fix in between I can't see anything wrong with this. I think I really have to give it just the three stars though, as although it's a good handwash, it isn't the best I've used and it isn't antibacterial either.
