I bought this product as the packaging appealed to me and it smells great! It was also on offer in boots at the time and I can't resist a bargain! it generally retails around £3.75 for 400ml.

I am a complete palmers cocoa butter formula girl, but on occasions try other things. I haven't been completely disappointed by this product, but equally I am afraid it doesn't do the job palmers does. I expected great things as it is marketed for extra dry skin. Also, the packagin looks almost medical as it is bright red! You feel like it's going to make you better! ....well, I did anyway, intentional or not.

The product smells lovely, slightly sweet, creamy and very natural. It absorbs into the skin well, although does tend to feel a little greasy afterwards. It is a white lotion, not too thick in consistency. it gives the skin a nice sheen after application. Because of this I actually used it on my wedding day.

Garnier claim that the product keeps skin moisturised for 24 hours, I can't say I would agree with this, although my skin is pretty dry. I think 12 hours would be more accurate. It contains maple sap which has soothing properties and also helps to protect the skin.

Overall, a nice product, but I wouldn't use it if you have very dry skin.

Summary: A natural product, but it doesn't live up to expectations.
