... description and some other important bits of information. The razors are green with purple moisture strips! They have two blades which is just enough. They have the Gillette logo on them and they are around 10cm in size. What do they do? Well of course they are used to shave unwanted hair from your body-marvellous invention! But, they are also used to moisturise you whilst shaving and glide efficiently over your skin. How much are they and where do you get them from? They are around £2.00 and they can be brought fro...more

Premium Review Gillette Agilite: Do You Want Any Skin Left ?!?! (897 words)

A few months ago I was asked to take a part in a testing trial for one of the sites I'm a member of, this involved receiving a pack of disposable razors, using them for the required time and then leaving feedback about them. These razors I was given the oppurtunity to test were Gilette Agilite. I was sent a packet of 4 disposable razors. The packet has a similar design to the picture above with the silhouette of a curvacious lady and an elegant swirl whirling along the packet - it is just the background colour which differs rather than it being silver it is white and the swirl is green with the silhouette being a shiny silver. The writing which says Gillette ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Cheap and Cheerful (472 words)

I am trying to cut back on my spending, so when I needed some new razors, rather than buying the Venus Vibrance blades or the Wilkinson Sword Quattro ones I normally go for, I looked for something a bit cheaper. The Gilette Agilite were just £3.22 for a pack of eight, so I thought for that price I would give them a go. The razors come packaged in a clear plastic wrapping, and inside the eight disposable razors are fixed onto a sort of plastic holder. I have also seen them sold in packs of four. The razors have only two blades, rather than the four I am used to, but have a 'Moisture Rich' strip, infused with Aloe Vera and Vitamin E to glide ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Gillette Agilite: Agilite has the ability to cut you to ribbons (719 words)

I recently did an online survey on hair removal and was given the opportunity to test the Gillette Agilite razors as part of this survey. As I am a sucker for getting something for nothing, I was delighted. The razors come in a pack of 4, and are overpackaged in a bag (which is fine), sitting on a clear plastic "holder" - which is excessive and unnecessary. Now at this juncture I should point out that I tend to only use razors for my armpits or occasionally on my legs if I am in a hurry. I far prefer to epilate my legs (takes longer but the regrowth is slower) however having been given these razors for nothing, the deal is I have to ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review What a drag! (366 words)

I can't honestly remember the last time I used a disposable razor...if at all... I usually stick to refillable razors, such as my trusty Gillette Sensor Excel. However, being down to my last blade, I decided to try out a cheaper alternative... This decision came on impulse. Browsing in my local Wilko's I happened across Gillette Agilite disposable razors on a 'clearance' display. The packaging drew me in - pretty turquoise razors, pink & purple packaging. Closer inspection made me realise that the razors were by Gillette (same as my trusty refillable...check...), had 2 blades (same as my trusty refillable...check...), & had a lubricating strip ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Gillette Agilite: Legs 11!!!!!!! (679 words)
by - written on 17/10/01 (Very useful, 643 readings)

For me, there is nothing worse than having stubbly, hairy legs, especially if I’m wearing a skirt. It feels much nicer to have smooth skin and to achieve this (unfortunately) I have to shave my legs! I like to wax my thighs and bikini line every four weeks as the hair on my upper leg is quite fine and less noticeable, but the bottom half of my legs get shaved regularly, as do my armpits. (I can’t face the re-growth of four weeks to wax the bottom half of my legs, not very attractive if wearing a skirt in summer!) For a long time I used the Gillette Sensor Excel razor but at the time they were around £4 for refill blades, I’m not sure of the ...  Read the complete review
