... unattractive stubble & red bumps. I have used other gels before which have been cheap, non-branded versions, but they haven't been worth buying again. I think that Gillette Satin care is definitely good, but you wont get perfection. That said, I would expect a slightly more penny friendly price tag, as £3 will add up because you need to shave frequently if you want to remain hair-free. Look out for offers on these as they are available in many supermarkets, beauty stores and pharmacies....more

I don't know about you ladies but I can't be doing with waxing and using an epilator, been there done that and it all hurts like hell! I've tried the hair removal creams and cos I've shaved my legs every day since I was about 15 (I know I shouldn't have now!) I find cream doesn't remove the hair as it's so strong and stubborn and besides that all the above methods make me sore so I stick with a good old razor and soap or shower gel. However I'm clumsy and I tend to cut myself weekly so when I saw this on offer in my local chemist for 99p I thought I'd give it a shot hoping for not only less marks but soft, silky pins to boot! The Packaging.... 200ml ...

Used to be a waxer myself......that was until the hairs on my legs started ingrowing...ugh, not an experience I wanted to repeat. Apparently repeated waxing weakens the hairs so much that they no longer have the strength to grow through the skin :( Time to find something different. I'd tried creams, they just smell disgusting and are *so* messy to use........didn't want to go back to that, so I thought I'd give the new and highly advertised Gillette for Women razors and shaving foam a go. I'm impressed. People had put me off shaving in the past, but really, this is SO easy. The foam (I use the sensitive one) is genuinely moisturising and ...

Gillette has grown to be a trusted and popular brand, so when I saw the sensitive version of their Satin Care shave gel I thought it would live up to its promise of silky smooth skin. For £2.99 (Superdrug) you get a 200ml pressurised can of gel which is dispensed by a push down nozzle. To apply, simply wash the area you wish to shave, squirt a small blob of gel onto your hand and gently smooth over your skin. Shave as normal and make sure you continually rinse off your razor to remove the gel and suds which will otherwise prevent a close shave. It is suggested on the product that you use it in conjunction with a Venus razor for best results. Designed for ...
