"Satin Care Moisture Rich Shave Gel with Silk gives you a close shave while reducing the worry of nicks and cuts", claims the back of the can. This persuaded me to give it a go, as i am always cutting myself with my razor when i'm in a rush.

The product comes in a pressurised can with a precision nozzle for ease of use. The can is easily identifiable, as all the writing on the front is clear and easy to read. The can comes in different colours, dependant on which scent it contains. The one i have, with aloe vera for sensitive skin, is mainly blue and green.

The can contains 200ml(195g) of shaving gel. The gel itself has a soft, smooth texture, which forms a smooth, not foamy lather, whan applied to wet skin. It smooths on really quickly and easily.

This particular gel has a lovely fresh smell, but other scents, such as wild berries, are also avaialable. I found that the scent stayed lightly on my skin for hours after use.

Once applied, the gel allows the razor to simply glide through it, over your skin, easily getting rid of any unwanted hair.

This product helps to ensure the closest shave possible, especially when used with a good quality razor, such as the Gillette Venus.

This gel has been formulated with aloe vera, to soothe the skin, and to help prevent those annoying nicks and cuts. I found that, for once, my skin did not become at all irritated after shaving, when using this product. I was also amazed at the fact that i no longer ended up with loads of cuts down my legs when i rushed to shave them.

This product also helped to keep my legs feeling soft, smooth and moisturised all day, without having to use a body lotion as i usually do.

At £1.99 a can, this is a must for anyone who wants smooth, silky legs, without any annoying cuts or irritation, and i would highly recommend it.
