Advantages: Smells great, foams well, lasts a while
Disadvantages: Pricey!
I've never been too fussed about which shaving gel I use, but have recently stuck with this one and found it's now the only one I use. The gel comes in a 200ml can, with a plastic cap and can usually be found for around £2.40 in Boots, maybe a little less if you shop round or buy it online.
The thing I love about this gel is the smell, most shaving products have a soap-ish smell to them, which is fair enough, but I particularly love the fruitiness of this gel. The pump action on the top of the can is very handy, but you have to be careful not to press down too hard or you'll end up with wayyy too much coming out. It does foam up very nicely though, and a little goes a long way, so the can lasts for ages!
You simply pump a bit out, smother over the area and shave away. The gel is very smooth, and the foam is soft, but there's not so much of it that it gets in the way.
The can says to use it with Gillette for Women Venus Razors, for the best results, but I never have and probably never will. It also states that it's wonderfully moisturising, which I do have to agree with. After I've used it, aside from the obviously reasons of being hair-free, my legs are noticeably smoother, and a lot less dry than they have been with previous shaving gels that I've used., which is great because they feel much smoother and less irritated (also good for sensitive skin)!
Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a 'nice' shaving gel. There's many more on the market which probably do just as good a job, but maybe don't smell or look as good. It's a little more luxury, but a highly recommended one!
Summary: 9/10
