==The Razor== The new Gillette Venus Breeze boasts built in shave gel bars, similar to another brand of razor that has been on the market for a few years. The razor comes in a pack with storage unit to store the razor and up to 2 refills inside, there is an attachment to fix this to the wall in the shower. Also in the pack there are 2 of the blades with the built-in shave gel bars. The blades are individually packaged, and can be stored, in the packaging, in the storage unit. ==First Impressions== The blades are very easy to attach and remove from the handle, like all previous Venus razors. I have always been a Venus user, and have found them to ... Read the complete review

I've used Gillette razors before, so was keen to try the new Venus Breeze razors I had seen advertised with the built in shave gel bars. I got my packet of razors home and was eager to try them out. Inside the large plastic packet was a shaving compact which can hold up to two replacement blades and has sticky pads to attach it to the wall of the shower. The razor sits neatly at the front of the compact for easy reach. I opened one of the two blades provided and it easily snapped onto the handle. I took a good look at it. The razor itself has three blades which all flex individually for a close shave. The shower gel bars are located at the top and bottom of ... Read the complete review

I have been using the Venus Vibrance razors for quite a while now, however, my local Boots hasn't had any of the replacement blades in stock for yonks. So I looked at the others which seemed to be Venus Breeze or Venus Embrace. The replacement razor heads for all these are quite expensive: £8.98 for a pack of 4. The razors themselves cost around a fiver. I couldn't quite make up my mind which one to go for so left the shop with none of them! Then that evening I went to Asda to do my grocery shop and found this quite remarkable offer on Venus Breeze and Embrace. I bought the Breeze version as I was intrigued by the "no need for separate shaving ... Read the complete review

I am not the most faithful customer when it comes to razors and I always tend to just buy whatever is in front of me or on offer and often buy disposables. But after irritation occurring on holiday when I bought some disposables, my skin felt like it needed something a little less harsh and so I bought this because of the in-built shaving gel. I was surprised at just how pricey it was but reluctantly took it anyway as Gillette is usually a reputable brand. I also bought a pack of refills as they were on special in Boots. So after using all my Boots Advantage Card points on this I trotted home happily thinking if it was rubbish at least it was bought on points ... Read the complete review

I used to own the Gillette Venus razor, just the 'plain jane' one, not one of the more fancy types they have now that vibrate or have 1 million blades a strip of something silky and soft. However when the Venus Breeze came out I was immediately interested in it. This razor was different. Instead of having to buy your usual shaving foam, the razor itself has a built in shave gel bar. A brilliant idea! When I bought the Gillette Venus Breeze razor it was on offer in Boots for half price, along with the blades. This razor's full price is £7.82 in Boots, I paid about £4 for mine, back before the VAT cut. Not bad for a Gillette Venus razor, the other types ... Read the complete review
