Gillette Venus Embrace

My previous razor was the trusty Venus original, which I had in both blue and pink. I don't think I would have bothered upgrading to Venus Embrace if it wasn't for the £10 Gillette voucher I had, because the price of the refill blades is quite steep. I chose to go for the Embrace razor, from a choice of their ever-growing range, probably because of the offer that was on at the time (yes, I'm a sucker for a bargain!). What is it? The new Gillette Venus Embrace is the newest in the range of ladies razors on the market from Gillette (the name kind of gives that away I guess). It is a lovely blue and green colour. The handle of the razor has a grooved rubber grip to make sure that it doesn't get slippery in the shower, this works very well even for someone prone to dropping full containers of shower gel and shampoo onto my own feet! I'm a bit of a sucker for any razor that promises smooth legs, although I'm not a slave to the brand name razors - if a supermarket razor works well I'll use it. However I do like to try out new razors so I decided that as I had a friend's wedding coming up for which I wanted smooth legs, but wasn't brave enough to wax, I'd use some Boots points to buy a Venus Embrace razor. I was in Boots the other day browsing along the shelves, in my break at work. I had a few things to get but I am not really one to pay attention to TV advertising and adverts so am not always aware of the newest products which is why I get a shock if I see them when out shopping.
