***ABOUT GILLETTE***
As many people will know Gillette makes a large range of different razors and products for men and woman. This includes razors, shaving gels, moisturisers, after shave balm and washes and even disposable razors for ladies as well. Gillette do a great range of shaving gels and after care products for woman, and I always use their shaving gel for a smoother, closer finish to avoid any nips from the razor.

***GILLETTE VENUS EMBRACE RAZOR***
This razor is made by the well know brand Gillette and is part of the Venus range and is called Venus Embrace. This is Gillette's first five-blade razor for woman, which hugs every curve for a close shave and dramatically smooth skin. This razor also has the following features:

* 5 Blades for a dramatically smooth shave
* Ribbon of moisture for a smooth glide
* Interchangeable Blade refill cartridges
* Shower pod convenient in shower storage
* Soft grip handle for no-slip control
* Available in Blue/Purple or Blue/Green

***PUTTING IT TO THE TEST***
The first thing I noticed about this razor was that the colour stood out and was a nice summery colour. I instantly noticed the soft grip handle for non-slip control. On looking at the razor blade you could see the protective ribbon of moisture as this is a light blue colour.

I used some Gillette gel on my legs before shaving and then used the razor. The razor glided smoothly over my skin and up my leg. After shaving my legs they felt very smooth and the 5 blades did give a very close shave. I always end up cutting my knee's when shaving but this was avoided, probably because I was more careful seeing as this was a new razor but I think the protective ribbon of moisture also helped as well.

After getting out the bath I moisturised my legs and after the moisturiser had absorbed into my skin my legs felt very smooth and silky. I couldn't feel any hairs left on my legs, not even short hairs. They had all gone and now my legs looked perfect for my night out on the town.

This gives me such a close shave on my legs that I don't normally need to shave until about 3 or 4 days later.

***OVERALL OPINION***
This is a great razor and definitely removes all the hairs from your legs, arm-pits and bikini area. Compared to some of the other Venus razors I think this one is slightly better and will give you a closer shave as it is the only ladies razor with 5 blades. The protective ribbon of moisture gives extra protection and makes your skin extra soft and smooth.

The down-side to this razor is the prices of the blades. I think they are quite expensive, especially compared to some of the other razor blades which are made by Gillette. How-ever depending on how often you shave will depend on how often you need to replace the blades.
