I prefer to either wax or epilate my legs, but to do that the hair has to be a certain length - not to mention that epilating is quite time consuming, so sometimes, only a razor will do! I have been using Venus Vibrance razors for several years, but I do sometimes alternate with cheaper brands as the blades for this one can work out quite expensive. The Venus Vibrance is a razor with a difference - the clue is in the name really - this razor vibrates! The idea behind this is that the gentle vibrations of the blade exfoliate the skin at the same time as shaving. I must admit at first it did sound a bit gimmicky, but it really does work which is why I have ... Read the complete review

ok, so I've messed up again and I find myself writing yet another review about something that should be strictly for the lady world. BUT WHAT A FIND!!!!!!!!!! Gillette Venus Vibrance Unravelled........................ Venus: [vee-nuhs] The Roman godess of Love, the brightest light in the night sky. the second closest planet to the sun Vibrance: [vahy-bruhnt] moving to and fro rapidly, pulsating with vigor and energy so what is venus vibrance? The brightest light pulsating with vigor, or a godess of love moving to and fro rapidly (I'm hoping its that one the cheeky minx) Well infact its neither but is instead the ... I bought this razor when they first came out. I have had other Venus razors and have thought they were the best razors I had ever used, so when I went on holiday and forgot my razor it was a natural choice for me to get another one. The Venus Vibrance razor is different to the normal Venus razors as you can put a battery in it so that will vibrate as you as shaving. This is meant to exfoliate your legs as you shave and give you a closer shave. The razor comes in a pink colour (which I really like!) and has a white rubbery grip around it so that it is easier to hold so you won't drop it (it can get quite hard with a smooth plastic razor in the ... I used to shave my legs with Bic razors in the shower with no cream or anything until my husband told me off and told me to stop mutilating my legs so I figured it was time to find something else a little more grown up and that would make my already gorgeous legs (he he) look better than ever. I had seen lots of television adverts for the Venus Vibrance for women from Gillette so decided to give it a go (it might have had something to do with the fact that I love the Bananarama song Venus which is featured in the ad's but, moving swiftly on!) You can buy the razor in Boots for £8.99. This razor is Gillette's first powered razor for women. It is ... Read the complete review

It's that time of year when we women need to shed the winter trousers and bare our legs to the world. Hairy legs are a no go unless of course you are Ms Helena Bonham Carter in Ape costume or you have a penchant for being mother earthy, displaying wild birds’ nests in your armpits and jungley legs to rival Tarzan. For me, I have to admit that waxing is virgin territory. I can't bring myself to experience the torture; I suppose it’s a small price to pay for having such tactile skin. The thought of those epilators that pluck the hairs from your very legs brings tears to my eyes, so the only option left is the vile sulphuric mess that is hair removal cream or the ...
