Advantages: smooth legs, v.easy to use
Disadvantages: expensive
The advertising campaign for the Venus razor is intense; it’s always on telly and in prominent display positions in the shops. Now I know why. WHAT A FANTASTIC RAZOR!! Never in my life has something left my legs (and other bits) so smooth I’ll never use another shaver again. The Venus razor comes with an easy grip handle in aquamarine blue. It comes in its own case, which includes compartments for the spare blades and even has sticky things so you can attach it to your bath or shower. All the blades are sealed up in their own little carton so you don’t get them wet. It’s also really easy to change the blades with a blue button at the top of the razor, which allows you to release them easily. The blades have a blue aloe Vera strip on them, which fades when they are losing their effectiveness – clever! The blades also have a protective barrier either side to protect your skin from those nasty nicks. The best bit is that the head of the shaver is so flexible its moves almost 90 degrees, which makes shaving behind your knees or your armpits an absolute doddle. I brought this product initially because you get an extra 100 points at boots but its well worth the money anyway. It costs £5.99 for the shaver and 2 blades and then a further £5.99 for 4 extra blades. I know it’s a bit pricey but I can’t stress how worthy this product is of its price tag. Go get ‘em girls!
