Advantages: closest shave yet, nice packaging, safe

Disadvantages: pricey, blades don't last very long

I saw the venus razor advertised on tv and decided to see what all the fuss was about. It was very pricey £5.99 for the razor and £5.99 for a packet of four blades but boots were giving you 250 bonus points if you bought them both. The packaging is lovely and the blades fit inside the case very nicely, but at £5.99 I was wanting to be very impressed. I have used my boyfriends mach 3 when I ran out of disposables before and loved it so when I saw a triple blade especially for women I was expecting the same results. I wasn't disappointed at all. It gives you a great shave and a comfortable hassle free one at that. It has an indicator strip that fades when the blade is needing renewed which is good but to my dismay the blades don't last very long. Apart from that I think the venus shaver is worth every penny so why not try it or even get the blades if your boyfriend, father, brother or husband has a mach 3 because they fit onto it.
