I have been through a vairity of shavers trying to find a really good one. Then I came across the venus razor made by gillette. I found it great from the start and havent changed since.
The actual razor part has three blades( a bit like the male version mach 3) so you dont have to go over and over the same area of leg to make sure its shaved properly. It gets rid off all the hairs in just one stroke. The part surounding the blade is rounded making it easier to get into those awkward to reach places such as behind your knee, the rounded shape also helps to prevent nicks and cuts. (By the way its almost imposible to get nicks with a venus razor) It also has a blue strip on it which gradually fades away the more times you use it and when theres no blue bits left you know its time to replace the razor.
The razor easily comes off and is easy to put on the handle. The handle is also great it now comes in two colors blue and white and it has a stylish curvy shape as well so it looks atractive if you leave it in your bathroom. On the underneath of the handle is rubber grooves so that you can get the ultimate grip and so that it doesnt slip out of your hand in the shower or bath.
Shaving with venus works well with whatever product you use with it be it shaveing foam bubble bath or shower gel although i advise not to use it with just water as you wont get as good results.
When you buy the venus razor it comes with two blades and a holder case so that you can store up to for blades in and has a clip on the top to attach the razor too. it also comes with an item which ataches to the case so that you can stick it too your shower wall for easy access.
