The charming subject of hair removal!!
Yeah, yeah, a not very talked about subject but we all do it in the private of our bathrooms and perhaps it doesn?t really need talking about, but if one day I turned up to school with furry legs then yes, it would definite be a taking point amongst the year 13 lads for quite a while. A hypothesis I am not willing to test!
Oh now it?s getting interesting, naked in a bath, plenty of bubbles, you want a quick shave so you can wear short skirts, swim suits and generally show off your legs without embarrassment, you don?t want to have to drag and scrape a razor over your legs until they are sore and nasty.
I bought a lady shave, for a nice clean cut before I start my weekly swimming trips again for the summer, there was an offer so that you get 100% of the money back so I couldn?t really lose.
The thing looks nice, it feels good it the hand, even has a little case thing that sticks to the side of the bath so you know where it is, pick it up, fits the hand perfectly some little ergonomics bloke must have been hard working for this product, and the head of the razor tips up to allow a close shave, it glides over the leg nicely, but it doesn?t appear to cut!!! I mean it?s not like my legs were hairy to start with, there was like a quarter of a mm to remove and it just didn?t. It glided straight over it without bothering the hair at all.
I repeated the shaving again and it felt smooth after that, so if you shave twice it leaves the legs smooth and it doesn?t cut or anything, it appears to be quite safe, I still have a scar on my ankle from when I slipped shaving with a normal woman?s razor at the age of about 14 and took a chunk out, my sister (bitch) called me the Sweeny for months and sang the theme tune at every possible opportunity. But usually if I nick myself it will be on the knees where it?s difficult to reach but the afore mentioned tipping of the head seems to have removed this pro
blem.
What I am trying to say is, it is a perfect razor in every way except it?s usefulness, it doesn?t work running a butter knife over your legs would have just about the same affect. Repeating the motion twice though does leave a nice finish, it?s good but time consuming because it has to be done twice.
