Advantages: smooth , silky, long lasting no stubble legs

Disadvantages: pricy

I don?t know about you but I have spent absolutely ages looking for a decent razor for as all you lasses know keeping your legs free of hair is one of the most important tasks of your life. Well stop searching because I have found THE perfect razor. The ?Gillette Venus Razor?.

You can buy this from all major store which sell toiletries. But your best bet is to buy it from a toiletries saver store, like wilkinsons for example for this razor doesn?t come cheap? hey don?t go away yet I haven?t told you the benefits. Anyway the starter pack as I call it contains a razor, 2 razor heads and case to keep these in. This will cost you around £3- £4.

The Venus razor handle comes in three colours. The original blue colour, a crystal colour and pink. Although there is a bit of colour on the razor heads which is blue.. And me being a self conscious girl does not want a miss matched coloured razor in my bathroom so I stick to the blue colour.

The packaging is very large and is impossible to get into without scissors. There is a case that comes with it which holds the razor and 4 razor heads. It is also wall mountable. But I don?t find a use for this as my bathroom is all tiles and it wont stick. So in my opinion the case is a waste of plastic

The razor handle comes with a rubber grip on so that you don?t need to worry about the razor slipping out of your hand and gashing your leg. IT also come in a curvy shape so it will look good in your bathroom.

The razor head comes with three blades so it?s a bit like the female version of the mach 3. This means that you only have to go over each area of the body once and the skin is rid of every hair that was on it before. You only need one stroke of the razor and all of the hair is gone.

The part surrounding the blade has rounded edges. Instead of rectangular, like all the other razors. This is so that it is easier to get to those awkward to reach places like behind your knee without n
icking yourself. By the way it is almost impossible to cut yourself with a Venus razor) On the razor head it also has a blue strip on it that gradually wears away after each shave so you know when its gone or very faint you need to change it.

The head easily comes off the handle. There is a little clip that you push down and it comes off without any hassle. To put it on you just put the end of the handle into the box which the razor head is in, and it easily attaches itself. So you don?t have to fiddle around when you realise you need to change the blade halfway through a shower.

You can use any shower/body gel to shave with Venus razor blades as its that good. My favourite is using dove?s body silk with a body puff as this leaves my legs even more silky then they would have been before.

The razor heads don?t come cheap though they come in a four pack and cost around £4-£6.

In all the Venus razor blades give a clean cut no stubble silky feel finish. Your legs will stay stubble free for a couple of days. And it does not aggravate skin conditions such as exema or psoriasis

It's all a big con - I buy men's razors as they're cheaper!

I have this razor and I love it - I bought it when I first came out and cost £7, but it was worth every penny! x
