This razor is around £6, and has two cartridges with it (i.e. two razor heads). The cartridges are available separately in boxes of 4 (for around £7). This does seem slightly expensive, especially compared to disposable razors. The packaging is attractive, on both the razor and the cartridges. The packaging on the razor is a patterned ... No pain no gain. Apparently the motto associated with looking good. Well, I was sick of exiting the bathroom holding my leg and half hobbling because my cheap men's razors had yet again drawn blood from my poor legs. I'm not sure if my legs are very sensitive or if they're just always full of hidden bumps but when shaving day comes around although ... Read the complete review

I have been using this razor for around 18 months now. When I bought it, it cost around £6 and came complete with two refill blades (one of which you needed to put on the razor straight away, the other as a back-up replacement). *** The Razor*** I don't normally describe the product itself too much as you can usually see what ... I started using Venus blades when they first came out and really noticed the difference between them and a normal disposable blade. When you first buy the razor it comes in a pack with the handle, 2 blades and a case for storing the razor and the spare blades inside. This is £5.96 from Boots. You then buy further spare blades seperately ... Read the complete review

I bought the 'Venus' razor when it first came out a few years ago. This was the first version of it, and since then there have been 3 or 4 new ones! Basically the razor has disposable blades you can buy for it and then throw away when they get blunt. These blades haven't come down much in price since they first came out. Back then you ... Gillette Venus is one of those products that I keep coming back to becasue it does the job it is supposed to do and does it well. The razor I bought and still have is about 6 years old, it is the classic blue one, though you can also get the same style in shocking pink which does look really cool. Either way you get the same razor ... Read the complete review

Well another from the vaults as they say (or is that just me thinking about watching Rocky Horror again thats brought that to mind?). This time I am going to talk about my current razor. I say my current razor because I have four of the things and as with the rest of my toiletries am trying to decide which is best therefore which I'll ... Read the complete review

I'm always keen to try stuff that has a lot of hype surrounding it, to see for myself if it's true. And in this case, it was! So here's my review of Gillette Venus Divine razor........ I have had a Boots gift voucher lurking in my purse for nearly 12 months now. I just hadn?t come across anything I really wanted. However, I was becoming dissatisfied with my method of ?fluff? removal and decided to have a look at what other options were available. I came across the Gillette Venus for Women and decided that it was time I kicked ... Read the complete review

For years I used to use any old razor, then I moved onto to Craig’s razors Gillette Blue II, which were a big improvement, but then someone went and bought Craig a gift set including a Gillette Mach III, at that point he put his foot down and bought me my very own gift set which included a Gillette Venus razor. Now as I have ... Read the complete review

I was really happy when I first purchased my Venus razers. I always used to use my dads because they would never cut me. The amount of times dad would tell me to buy my own. I decided after I'd seen an advert on telly for the new ladys Venus blades I thought that I would buy them and try them out. They are so protective, I haven't cut ... Read the complete review

Yes, I am naked while writing this. Previously, I was all hairy and horrible, but now I am perfectly smooth. What am I talking about? My legs, of course! For some reason, someone somewhere once decided that women’s legs should always be free of hair. I don’t know who this was, but I’d like to hit him. (Let’s face ... Read the complete review

I used to use the gillette sensor excel before trying the new venus razor from gillette. Venus definetly gives a better shave. It just glides over the legs, leaving the legs smooth and no cuts! It also is a better design..pretty colours and good grip handle, very light and easy to use. The actual razor is only a bit more expensive than sensor ... Read the complete review

The Gillette Venus razor must be an object in every household unless there are women free houses. I bet most of us remember our first experience of hair removal quite clearly. I wonder how many of us had our first illicit affair with our father's precious razor? My first experience of shaving my legs was not a nice memory. My mum had told me not to shave as I would regret it, but as usual I knew better. I was having a bath and decided to borrow her cheap disposable razor, and proceeded to take the skin (and some flesh) off my leg from ankle to knee! I steered clear of razors pretty much since then (I was ... Read the complete review
