The oil itself is clear with the distinct promised smell of Hawaiian tropic sun products- all floral and coconut. It definitely reminds me of holidays in the sun.
The oil itself is, as expected, an oil, and when I apply it to my skin, it leaves a definite layer of oil on my skin. It's not sticky when I feel it on my skin but for anyone venturing to the beach, the sand will stick to it, which for me is a very unpleasant experience. Therefore, rather than this being a sun protection product it is in fact a moisturiser for in the sun.
