Disadvantages: Everything else
Lush Hot Milk Bubble Bar:
Just to get it out of the way this doesn't smell like hot milk. The name is meant to capture the spirit of this bar. Lush believe is it great before bed; all warm and comforting like a mug of hot milk.
Looks wise this is not a pretty bubble bar, (a bubble bar is like a slab of solid bubble bath), all orange and really blob shaped. It doesn't smell strongly but you can get a whiff of coconut milk and some kind of citrus. I don't actually like the smell much, (that's what I get for shopping online), and to me it smells like citrus cleaning products. According to Lush this contains coconut milk, orange oil, patchouli oil and gardenia. I can really only detect coconut milk and orange.
To use a bubble simply crumble under a running tap, (make sure the water isn't too hot first or you'll end up with a sore hand like me - Duh)! I found that this crumbled easily enough but some of it wouldn't dissolve and took ages and a bit of faffing to get it all dissolved. It turns a very orange colour when wet and turns the bath water orange too which is quite cheery.
I did get a lot of bubbles and they were lovely and rich and lasting throughout my whole bath which was good. The smell was basically none existent once the bath was fully run which I thought was a good thing seeing as I didn't like the smell but some would find this disappointing.
I have to warn you that this makes your bath so slippery. I have a bad back at the moment and this made washing my hair, (I have to kneel in front of the taps and use one of those shower things you fit on the taps and I kept sliding forward), and getting out of the bath difficult. Okay it's not Lush's fault I have a bad back or a rubbish bathroom but I thought it was worth mentioning.
After my bath I did feel relaxed but then I usually do after a bath so I really can't say if this was due to the bubble bar or not. My skin is actually dryer now than it was when I got in the bath so this certainly didn't moisturise at all, although my skin did feel lovely when I was in the bath.
All in all this is not a bubble bar I would ever buy again which is okay as Lush has discontinued it since I placed my order and so the only place you're likely to get it is eBay. I paid £2.06 for this bubble bar.
If you want to visit the Lush website it is www.lush.co.uk. They have quite an amusing "public improvement video" on their website at the moment which is worth a look.
Summary: A bubble bar from Lush that left me dissapointed
