Advantages: smooth skin, painless hair removal
Disadvantages: a bit pricey
I always say my youngest daughter is nearly 16 going on 21 when anyone asks her age, these days kids seem to grow up more mature for their ages. The cloths and makeup they wear gets them admitted into clubs and pubs long before they are old enough to be in them. One day they are your little darlings the next time you look your seeing a beautiful 5ft 6in slim young woman looking back at you. Time plays tricks on us all the time, but you know that your daughter is turning into a young woman when you notice the Immac on her cosmetic shelf of her room. Hair removal is one thing you never seem to bother about when your a young girl, makeup yes but hair removal no. Then you get to the age where you want to have silky smooth legs without having to cover them up with tights, or fake tan. So you progress to the use of Immac hair removal cream. Immac which has now changed it's name to Veet is made by Reckitt Benckiser. The cream comes in a white plastic tube which is 100ml with a blue twist off top. The words Veet are written on the box it is sold in. The one my daughter uses is sensative plus with sweet almond milk. It comes with a little spatula for you to spread the cream onto the area of skin you want the hair removed from. Squeeze the cream onto your skin, spread with the spatula and make sure you cover all the hairs. leave this on the skin for 5 minutes, remove the cream with the spatula and rinse the skin well. It says not to use soap and to pat the skin dry after use. So after following instructions on a little patch on my arm whilst writting this, I will now rinse off. Yes it works, I have a little bold patch on my arm so I'll have to do the rest later. I can however tell you that my arm does feel smooth and I can smell the faint scent of the almonds, which is good as I hate products that leave you smelling chemically. It also moisurises the skin so you don't end up with dry flakey skin after
use. This Immac (Veet) cost £2.99p which i think is a bit pricey, because if you were wanting to do both your legs and arms in the same day then you'd probably need two tubes, this would make it costly. I suppose it is a lot cheaper than waxing and a lot less painfull, so there are up sides to the expense of this cream. I think I'd better get my daughter some more of this cream before she comes home from school, as I'll need to use it so that my arms don't look funny with the patch I have on it. Have fun today!
