I'd like to think that I'm not the kind of person who's normally seduced by TV advertising, I really would, but it's patently not true... Not only can I sing along to even the most annoying advertising jingle, I can tell you exactly which car Papa and Nicole drive, I know which cat food eight out of ten of the countries moggies prefer, not to mention the name of the company that likes to think of itself as the fourth emergency service. You'd only need to say the first few words of an advertising slogan to me and I'd probably be able to finish it for you... Sad, I know, and it's not even as if I'm a telly addict, or anything, ... I had seen the ads, I had seen the hairs on my legs, I had the money, I was willing to try some pain for gain,if it was less than the epilator..... I was SO wrong. Once at home, clutching this wonder product, I hid in the bathroom and started to get to the point, assuming that once £9.50 is spent I would get great reults. Once you get through the outer wrapping, and open the box, you are confronted with 1 warm applicator (roll-on method),2x50ml cannisters of wax, 10 fabric strips and the instructons: a very lengthly piece of paper with writing on both sides and some demostrative pictures. Here they tell you all the do's and ... Read the complete review

The New Immac Warm Wax Roll on with super dooper AquaSystem looks perfect. The wax is delivered by a roller, ensuring the perfect depth. The wax is heated by plain hot tap water, so no need to use a microwave with the associated fears of burning your skin. The delivery device is neatly designed to be easy to hold no matter what the angle, so you can wax all manner of body parts, and as if this wasn't enough, you can buy refill cartridges, so no need to splash out on a new unit for each waxing. Wow, no wonder I bought it. The instructions are clearly laid out, simply fill the device with hot (not boiling) water and then insert the wax ... Read the complete review

Remember when the sun came out and was nice and warm the other day? Well I decided it was time to get my legs out for the summer, they've been rather neglected over the winter so I decided to treate them. I hate having to shave my legs numerous times a week or having to mess around with hair disolving creams so I decided I try waxing. It lasts upto 6 weeks, allegedly! So I trotted off to the shops and found the perfect wax it even said so on the lable. It was in an easy to use roll on dispenser which you heated in the microwave (or in a bowl of hot water if you are lacking a microwave, I can't comment on how effective this is as I didn't try it ... After my disastrous attempt at using the Immac Hair removal mousse, in my quest to find a more satisfactory method of hair removal I turned to waxing. Yes, I had tried it before (and wimped out, leaving me stuck for hours with a waxing strip stuck on my leg, but with me too scared to pull it off!) but I felt that now I am old enough (and brave enough!) to withstand the pain. Well, maybe... I plumped for Immac Warm Wax with Aquasystem. You've seen the advert on TV, it all looks so easy and, most importantly of all, painless! It comes in a rather large box containing an applicating container, two wax refills and enough strips of wax to cover one leg. It comes ... Read the complete review
