orchid1988 No.7 Self-Tan Mousse: ... purchased this product as I was wary of swimming alongside my tanned friends in our local pool. Previous products which I had used, had not stayed intact whilst swimming and I was pleased with the skin tone which this product gave me. However I found after application the colour took a few hours to develop, and like most self-tan you must be careful that it doesnt come into contact with light coloured clothes, as...

alginate Immac Cream
... on ladies hands up, how many of you have run out of your own shaving gel or razor heads and used the old mans instead? Well i know i have plenty of times, and believe me i ve paid for it, his gel stinks to high heaven and the razors cut my legs to ribbons, it looks as though Freddie Krugers slashed me with his weird knife finger things! Legs red raw and bloody i learnt my lesson and splashed out on a can of Veet (formally known as immac) bladeless hair removal gel, yippee no more nasty razor cuts. The gel comes in a 150ml can and is a nice pink colour, pretty hard to miss when it s sat on the shelf at boots. It cost me roughly about £4.00, give or take a few pence, a...

... surely be spent more constructively, i.e. in bed asleep. So I stumbled on the brilliant idea of waxing my head. A few minutes of applying big bits of selotape to my head and pulling them off would result in up to 4 weeks of a head as smooth as a billiard ball. This could be the answer to my hair related prayers. A trip to Tescos later I was in possession of a pack of Veet, (formerly known as Immac), “20 Quick and Easy to use Wax Strips”. I opted for the sensitive type as intelligence had told me the operation of removing hair by waxing could sting a little. A quick skim of the instructions, (I’m a bloke so reading instructions properly just isn’t an option), and I c...

... has changed it s name to Veet and has recently been pushing it s waxing products through TV advertising. To be honest, I ve always fancied an alternative to shaving as I m extremely clumsy and tend to come out the bath looking like an extra from a horror movie with blood spurting out of tiny gashes all over my legs. As if that s not bad enough, my hair is dark so even when shaved you can tend to see little dark pinpoints of hair on my leg and I have to shave my legs every day if I m intending wearing shorts or a skirt or such like. I was tempted by the advertising promising that waxing isn t half as painful as everyone cracks it up to be and by the fact that you ca...
