Advantages: Smell and packaging

Disadvantages: Too runny

I have not been a huge fan of the Imperial Leather shower gels and cremes in the past having found them too runny for my liking meaning I would get through a bottle twice as fast as I was expecting. However I can normally be swayed by a product being on offer and when I saw that the Imperial Leather shower cremes were on offer in a BOGOF deal at £1.42 each I couldn't resist.

The first one I went for was the 'milky one' in the white bottle as that is normally a good choice in any range. Then i had to choose a second one. They have quite a few in their product range so there's a fair bit of choice whether you like the relaxing ones, the zingy ones or the ones that promise to do things to your skin. This one caught my eye because it was just so pretty. I am not normally one to be swayed by packaging but this bottle was the just the sweetest baby pink with pink lid and on the front are little flowers coloured in pink and purple. It is an incredibly girly bottle and would look great in a pink bathroom. On the front it says Little Treat Pampering Cherry Blossom and Vanilla Bean Shower Creme in matching pink and purple writing. A really sweet bottle. It also has the slight s shape design that you see in all Imperial Leather shower cremes.

The smell of the creme is delicious. You can smell both the vanilla and the sweet cherry blossom. The smell just makes me think of being in a meadow on a hot sunny day, it's really appealing. Sadly it doesn't linger that long on your skin but while it does it makes you smell very feminine, kind of a soft, gentle, sweet smell. When you pour it out it comes out a very pale pink, almost white actaully. However I have the same problem I have had in the past. Because it is not all that concentrated you need a fair bit to work up a good lather and therefore you use up a bottle much quicker that you might expect. I really don't like my shower cremes to be that runny and I find I get roughly a week's less use from this than other branded shower cremes.

So in conclusion, I would say I like this very much. It smells great and looks great and it gets me clean. The only negative is its runny consistency. I don't think I would buy it if it was normal price but if it were on a BOGOF deal again I'd certainly get this again as I think this is even nicer than the milk version and I think I 'd try some of the other verisons too.

Summary: On BOGOF it's fabulous value
