Advantages: Lovely scent

Disadvantages: none

I recently ran out of my usual 'original source' shower gel and seeing this on offer at Tesco, I thought I would try it out.

The packaging:
It is baby pink shower cream and comes in a curvy shaped bottle. I know that's not a very good description, but I honestly don't know how better to describe the rather odd shape of the bottle. It is, however, easy to hold so perhapes that was the reasoning behind the weird shape. Most of the bottle is transparent which is good as it allows you to see how much you have left. The lid is a flip top lid which is useful as after dispensing the product, you don't want to be fiddling arround with a screw-top lid. The bottle is decorated with some cartoony flowers and the overall effect is very girly.

The Product:
To use this, I dispensed a little onto a shower puff and worked it into a lather over my body. The smell of this product is quite strong, but it is a lovely scent so I was quite happy about it. On the bottle it says the cream is cherry blossom and vanilla bean 'flavour' and you can definietely smell the vanilla coming through. On the bottle it says that the cherry blossom is a Chinese symbol of femaile beauty whereas the vanilla bean is warm, comforting and relaxing. After rinsing, my skin was left clean and soft, but as this is usually the case with most shower creams I have used, I didn't notice anything remarkable about this product. The thing I did like about this product, however, was that the scent subtly remained for the whole day.

This product is given a 'family kind' label and is 100% soap free and said to be at a skin friendly pH.

Cost:
This product is currently retailing at £1.49 from Boots.

Tip:
I have often read that smelling of vanilla makes you seem more likeable to people when first meeting them. Therefore, if you have someone to impress, this would be the ideal shower cream to use.

Overall, though there was nothing too special with how this product made my skin feel after use, I loved the scent and the way it remains on you for the rest of the day and for that reason I would definitely recommend using this product.

Summary: A girly shower cream that smells amazing.
