I have tried Imperial Leather Shower Cream in the past and was not blown away by it. However, when I saw it on special offer in the shops last week and noticed it had been redesigned I decided to give it another go. Imperial Leather is made by Cussons, (the same people who do Carex) and along with their range of shower creams also offer a range of soaps and toiletries. When I picked the bottle up I noticed that they have changed the way it looks. Therefore, the bottle you see in the picture above is no longer what it looks like. This was recently on offer at our local supermarket so I thought I'd give it a go. Normally the shower cream costs about £1.50. From Cussons Imperial Leather this shower product advertises itself as a cream as opposed to a shower gel, probably on account of the fact that is seems to have a consistency more similar to bubble bath than gloopy gel. The Nourishing shower cream has jojoba milk and vitamin e to moisturise and keep skin healthy. The bottle is transparent so you can easily see how much is left and has a 'flip lid' on the top which is attached to the main lid by one of those plastic hinges that means you don't have to worry about dropping the lid and ... I am a real sucker for buying shower gels, and somehow I never seem to learn that because I have sensitive/dry skin, I should use gentle soap-free or fragrance-free products. For me, I like my showers to be a little bit luxurious, and I like my shower products to smell lovely too. Imperial Leather Shower Creams are something I discovered about 4 or 5 years ago, after having seen them on a TV advert and immediately falling in love with the idea that showertime could actually be a nice experience rather than just for the purpose of getting clean and feeling not at all motivated or invigorated.
