Advantages: Smells great, cleans well
Disadvantages: A little doesn't go a long way
When I saw this product for £1.00 a bottle (on offer from the usual price of about £2.29 a bottle in Sainsbury's) I couldn't resist trying it out!
The Packaging....
250ml light pink, plastic bottle with a flip top opening to the bottom if it. On the front I'm told it is Imperial Leather SkinBliss Unique Shower Lotion 'Renew' With 'Exotic Manoi Oil' and contains MoistureLock. On the back of the bottle I'm told a bit about the product, instructions on how to use it are given along with a list of ingredients being displayed, size is stated (as I've listed already), contact details for PZ Cussons (the manufacturers of the product are given) along with finally a bar-code being displayed. It's a nice functional, classy enough looking bottle and contains enough information on it.
A Bit About The Product According To The Back of The Bottle....
Cleanse your skin in a whole new way with SkinBliss. Our unique, breakthrough ultra mild MoistureLock system gently cleanses without stripping away your precious natural oils and helps skin seal in it's natural moisture, leaving no greasy residue.
The result is that your skin is noticeably, and touchably soft after 5 days. Not bad for just a few minutes everyday in the shower.
Renew, for an exotic moisture experience, contains Manoi oil, extracted from the Tahitian Tiare flower and celebrated for its beautifying and smoothing properties.
Mild enough for the most sensitive skin.
Dermatologically tested.
Scientifically proven Moisturelock technology.
Directions For Use....
Let the shower's heat & humidity warm your skin, then squeeze SkinBliss into your hand or onto a puff and smooth on. Work onto a creamy lather and rinse clean.
Me Using It....
Well I found the name of this which is very tempting which is why I bought it i the first place but whilst I liked it well enough I can't get excited over this product at all.
It is a good consistency, is a shimmery, moisturising looking opaque cream. Smell wise it's highly floral but naturally so and very well blended and sweet and warm and to me smells like it has an undertone of coconut fragrant to it too. It's really pleasant and highly scented and defo one for the ladies this!
So of course it's up to you how you apply it. In my case it's with my trusted scrunchy and I use a blob and then apply to damp/wet skin. It lathers up into a reasonably moisturising white, soft foam, gives off a lovely clean, fresh scent and is smooth as promised on the skin. Good for shaving with as well as giving your body a nice cleanse and then when your done it rinses off easily and fuss-free leaving no residue behind.
Skin is left feeling very clean and smooth enough and the scent lingers on the skin delicately (in my case) for a good few hours.
However I found that to get and feel clean I need alot of product. It lathers up easily but then vanishes and then I feel I need to use more to continue washing with which makes this a time consuming product to use and not as economical as I'd like it to be.
Also although I feel clean and my skin is hydrated enough I haven't seen or felt any difference in my skin in over a week of using this. Bliss...not really, it's just an everyday shower product but not all that luxurious and I feel the name SkinBliss is a little misleading!
An average shower cream in my opinion but it doesn't hurt skin and does clean you and I'd say try this if interested if it's on offer. Available in all chemists and supermarkets.
Summary: An every-day shower product that's kind to skin
