Advantages: Skin friendly pH, mild, dermatologically tested, 100% soap free, smells great, skin feels nourished
Disadvantages: I couldn't get the lid back on (just a small hiccup there!)
Whilst visiting a friend one evening, she recommended I try Imperial Leather's Snug As A Bug bubble bath. In fact, she recommended it so much that she went upstairs and brought back down a bottle of it for me! I like a good long soak in the bath, so she knew I'd love this bubble bath.
The lid of the bottle simply twists off, but putting it back on proved not to be so simple (or was it?!). I put the lid back on top of the bottle and tried to twist it back on, but it went round in circles (pretty much like when you try to take the lid off a child-proof medicine bottle without pushing down!). I ended up having to read the label on the back of the bottle... It turned out that putting the lid back on was as simply as simply pushing it down firmly. Even when I used the bottle a second time I tried to twist the top back on, but remembered how I'm supposed to do it. Yes, I felt a little stupid!
Imperial Leather's Snug As A bug bubble is vanilla milk and honey scented, and, unsurprisingly, it smelled exactly how it should... Totally gorgeous and almost good enough to eat/drink (not that you should in any circumstances!)
Snug As A Bug produces plenty of bubbles when poured into a bath with running water... Just what I like when having a nice long soak in the bath.
Some bubble baths tend to make me itch afterwards (I have quite sensitive skin), but I was glad to read on the back label of the bottle that this bubble bath has a "skin friendly" pH, is mild enough for the whole family, dermatologically tested and 100% soap free. True to it's word, I didn't itch or have any red blotchy patches after using it. The bubble bath is also helped by the properties of the vanilla milk (skin protecting & conditioning) and honey (naturally hydrating, nourishing and healing).
Some bubble baths can leave my skin feeling dry, but not this one. After using it, my skin feels soft and nourished.
I believe that the 500ml bottle of Imperial Leather's Snug As A Bug bubble bath usually retails for around £2.49, but can often be found on offer in various supermarkets & shops.
For me, Snug As A Bug ticks all the right boxes...
- Plenty of bubbles
- Smells great
- Can smell it on skin after use
- Skin feels soft after use
- Doesn't irritate
- Bottle is recyclable.
So, all in all, I would definitely recommend Imperial Leather's Snug As A Bug bubble bath and I'm grateful to my friend for giving me a bottle of it! Thanks Kim! :D
Summary: Top bubble bath by Imperial Leather!
