IMPULSE BODY SPRAY in SPIRIT.


I was wandering round Superdrugs the other day looking for a new bodyspray, because my other Avon one had run out. The ones that caught my eye was the IMPULSE range of deodrants, bodysprays and bodywipes. They are all bright and colourful and eyecatching. So, I had a good sniff of them all, by spraying a bit of each on my jumper, and decided on Spirit, though there were other nice smells like:

~ O2
~ Moongrass
~ Hint of Musk
~ ICQ

So, if you prefer a different or more subtle smell, you could choose one of those.


~ PACKAGING ~

This bodyspray comes in an average sized can, of about 15cm and holds 75ml of spray. It stands out, as it is quite bright. The front of the can is a two-tone blue, going from pale blue at the top to darker blue at the base. There is a pink and silver squiggly line at the bottom with the words SPIRIT BODY SPRAY written on top. The IMPULSE logo is on the top of the can, in black with a silver butterfly.

On the back of the can is the directions for use, warnings and ingredients.

The impulse body sprays spray differently to other body sprays, as they don't have a lid, you just twist the top when you want to use it and twist it back when you are finished.


~ THE BODY SPRAY ~

On the back of the can, there is a description of the spray:

' Spraying Impulse all over your body gives a cool, fresh feeling on your skin and leaves you feeling revitalised, gently fresh and fragranced.'

The body spray itself is obviously clear in colour. It smells very fresh and young, but it doesn't have any particular smell to it. I think it's probably aimed at younger people as it is quite young and some people may find it a bit overpowering, but if you use the right amount, then it's okay.

When you spray this on to your skin, quite a lot comes out so 1 or 2 sprays should be
enough.

When the spray touches your skin, it dries quickly, usually within a couple of seconds, so it doesn't stain your clothes or leave marks.

The smell lasts ages, becuase I sprayed it on in the morning, and I could still smell it in the evenong, so it lasts all day, unlike other sprays I've used which fade within a few hours.


~ OVERALL ~

Overall, this is a very good bodyspray, as it:

~ Lasts all day
~ Is quite cheap
~ Smells good

It will probably last me about 3 weeks to a month. If you don't think you'll like this smell, you could try a different one from the range.

~ OTHER INFORMATION~

~ I bought this spray from Superdrugs where it cost me 99p. They can also be bought from Boots, chemists and supermarkets.

~ I didn't find this spray irritated my skin at all, but if you are sensitive to these type of products, you should do a skin test before you use it.
