You know the feeling you get when you see something in a store that you thought was discontinued? The feeling of total glee when you know that you can go back to using the one product that you have loved since the first day you ever used it? That's how I felt on Friday afternoon.
I was on a shopping trip in Dundee with my best friend on Friday, just mindlessly walking through the shopping centre not really knowing what to expect, when we came across a store called Bodycare. This was just the well known Boots and Superdrug, except it seemed to be a hell of alot cheaper. As we were browsing through the shelves and shelves of body lotions, I found it. My holy grail. My favourite scent. My favourite lotion. Inecto Pure Coconut Oil Body Lotion. I didn't buy one thought. I bought four, there was no way I was going to let this little puppy get away from me again.
Unlike the picture, this lotion comes in a tall, white plastic, rounded rectangular bottle with a flip lid. There are white labels on the front and back of the bottle with the front label showing pictures of coconuts, the brand name, product name and the bottle volume. On the back label there is a short description of the lotion with the directions. This is printed in five languages - English, French, German, Dutch and Spanish. The company contact information is written underneath this. It also claims "This product may vary in colour due to natural ingredients", and I must say that I noticed the colour variations between the four bottles I bought and the one I had last year.
The lotion itself is thick, yet it is still fairly runny making it easy to get out of the bottle. The current bottle I am using contains a very pale pink lotion with a pearl sheen to it, but I have seen them pure white with a pearl sheen and medium pink with a pearl sheen, so don't be put off if your lotion is different than mine.
It smells like 100& pure coconut. None of that synthetic crap. It's a lovely luxurious scent which leaves you feeling like you're on a tropical island....
You only need a small amount to cover each leg/arm/your torso etc, and it absorbs basically on the spot. There's no need to walk around naked for 10 minutes waiting for it dry, this is insta-dry-moisturiser.
After just one application, your skin is left feeling you've been taking perfect care of it for years and years. There's no waiting a week of usage to feel the benefits, this the perfect lotion.
I'm so happy to have found somewhere that sells this lotion again, and for £1.27 for a 250ml bottle, you can't go wrong, can you?
Sadly, Dundee is around an hour away on the train for me, but that's not too far, and it doesn't put me off going down for the day to pick up a bottle of lotion.
If you can find somewhere that sells this, BUY IT!
Thanks for reading!
