Advantages: Smells great, lots of bubbles, good value for money
Disadvantages: None for me
I have been trying out a lot of the Imperial Shower Gel and bubble bath range after they were on special offer of buying 4 for £3 from Tesco recently. So far I have liked most of them but already have my favourites. I had tried the Japanese Spa shower cream and really liked it so it spurred me on to trying the moisturising bath.
The Japanese Spa Bath is a lightly moisturising bath foam which is a Limited Edition although I am not sure exactly what this means and think it might just be a marketing ploy for you to buy the product and try it! It contains green tea, rice milk and jasmine and Imperial Leather say it is produces a rich creamy lather for you to soak in which will leave your skin beautifully soft. The Green Tea is an anti-oxidant, the rice milk is caring and gentle for your skin and the Jasmine is relaxing and soothing.
The bath foam retails for around £1.48 but but I got mine on offer, I have seen them sell for more in other shops so it's worth shopping around and also stocking up when they are on offer.
The bath foam comes in a lovely wavy shaped bottle which is clear showing the cream coloured product. (The picture Dooyoo has is not correct!) The bottle has a screw top lid and holds 500ml. The cream has a skin friendly ph and Imperial Leather say that it is mild enough for whole family. It is also dermatologically tested and 100% soap free. It is worth pointing out that the bottle is almost identical to the Japanese Shower Cream and I have been using the two together and you have to watch you don't pick up the wrong one, the only difference is that the shower cream has a flip lid as opposed to a screw lid.
Opening the bottle it's easy to pour a small amount out and the product is a good consistency and nice and creamy. The smell is simply gorgeous it's a slightly floral smell which comes from the Jasmine and is really fresh and luxurious. It reminds me of a Hugo Boss body moisturiser that I got as a Christmas present once.
It foams up really well and you have loads of bubbles. You really don't need to use much of this product as it does produce lots of bubbles. They are also really good bubbles in that they last for the whole bath. There is nothing more disappointing when you are having a relaxing long soak in the bath and the bubbles disappear within a few minutes! The bath foam feels nice on my skin and is not at all drying. It leaves a nice light fragrance and when you use it in conjunction with the shower cream it really smells great.
I really like this bath foam it is my favourite one in the range and I will definitely buy it again. It is great value for money but its such a nice product I would be willing to pay more for it and for me that's a good sign about something. I would recommend it to you.
Summary: A lovely bubble bath that smells great and gives lots of bubbles
