Advantages: oog, nothing, sorry

Disadvantages: I don't like the smell or the consistency and it does not absorb

I think I 'acquired' this tube of hand and body cream from a work colleague who decided she didn't really like it much. Not one to see anyhting wasted, I asked her if I could have it if she was throwing it out and I gave it a go myself. I admit I had never heard of the name before I saw this tube - JASON? I initially wondered if it stood for something. The tube is rather large (250g) and I am happy to report that the blurb states it has not been tested on animals. Always a good thing!

It's easy to use, stands on its 'head' and had a flip top lid. I know my friend paid around £6 for his cream as she was pretty annoyed with herself after she had started to use it, only to find that she wasn't keen on it.

When I first used it I admit I wasn't too sure about the smell - especially as it is actually not supposed to have any fragrance at all! Well, I can assure you - it does! Not a particularly nice one, either, I'm afraid. The tube states it contains Vitamin E and is easily absorbed into the skin for a wonderful softening effect.

Personally I don't like this cream that much. I only used a small amount the first time I used it, rubbed it in gently as I do with all handcreams, but then I found it just sort of 'sat there' on my hands and wasn't absorbed very well at all. I was particularly disappointed as I was on the desk at work and I had to answer the phone and use a pen - I found everything was slipping and sliding out of my hands - it was terrible.

I eventually had to use a tissue to try to wipe my hands clean. However, the smell contniued to linger even after I had wiped it off and I found this annoying too. I asked my friend if she'd like it back but she just laughed and said 'no'. It can also be used as a body lotion I am told, but there is no way I would choose to rub this on my body - I can only imagine feeling greasy and sticky on a much bigger scale.

We have now left it placed on the side of the wahbasin in the staff toilets so anyone who wants to use it can help themselves - aren't we kind?

Sorry, but I cannot recommend this product. Not nice.

Summary: I would not buy this, not nice
