      Very helpful

A nice product especially if used with the shower gel and L'eau de Toilette from the same range.

As explained in recent reviews, some months ago I was the lucky recipient of a gift box of Joop Jette toiletries. This attractively presentation set contained:

A 30 ml bottle of Joop Jette Eau de Toilette Spray, and a matching Jette Sensual shower Gel, along with a Jette Sensual Body Lotion.

I tried out the perfume fairly quickly, as I usually do, but stashed the other two items away, waiting for a special occasion. Well, I wouldn't say that last Saturday was that special BUT at least it was unusual in the fact that I did go out! I went for a meal with my husband, brother and sister-in-law. But not only did I use this fragrance lotion because it was a' sort of special occasion' but because, with Christmas fast approaching, I felt as if I needed to use up some of my toiletries. After all, I want Santa Claus to bring me some goodies and not think I have enough toiletries already.

When we were out my sister-in-law remarked that my perfume smelt nice so it was good to tell her that I was wearing all three of the contents of the set that she had bought for me.

I used the Sensual shower gel , in the shower of course, and was pleased with it. I decided to also use the Sensual body lotion, and then finish with a mist of Jette Eau de Toilette to complete the effect. I hope I wasn't overpowering.

My skin tends to be a little dry lately, so I do tend to use a moisturiser. Normally though, I would choose something perfumed, as my skin is on the sensitive side.

I thought this lotion spread on easily, gliding over the skin. It felt rich in texture and nicely creamy in its consistency.

I could smell the scent of the Jette body lotion on my skin but didn't think it was too strong. I was however sparing with this. It smelt exactly the same as the shower gel and perfume. As with the perfume, I thought that the fragrance of the gel and lotion improved upon wearing and fading just a little.

It absorbed into the skin well and was soon dry enough so that I could dress for my evening out.

I was pleased that this lotion felt light and comfortable on my skin and didn't cause irritation. I will say at this point though, that although this claims to be suitable for all skins, I personally would only rarely use lotions that are perfumed.

It did feel luxurious to be using three matching products and nice to know that nothing would clash (I was sparing with my hairspray).

As my Jette body lotion was part of a set bought as a gift I don't know the price. I believe it was bought from a high street perfumery store. I have found that from on-line outlets the 150 ml ( 5 oz) seems to sell for around twenty pounds or more. I personally wouldn't pay anything like that price for a body lotion however sensual it was.

I think the boxed sets work out better value, and feel sure that this is cheaper on the high street.
