Advantages: Hand bag sized tube..

Disadvantages: It is a bit tiny for the usual price (usually around £2+)

~*~ Introduction ~*~

Even though the weather is getting a little warmer the cold breeze is still nipping around us, and thanks to this dry hands are still more than with us.. Which when you spend more than enough time, cleaning things outdoors - namely my car, which always seems filthy compared to any other car around I have to say. The cold air is never going to be good for your hands.. Which is why I started using this hand cream in the first place, that and the fact that I have a fantastic Johnson's facial moisturiser..

~*~ Packaging ~*~

The tube of cream I have is the 50ml version I am not sure if there is a larger one out there but, this one is small enough to pop in your handbag.. The tube itself is about 5 inches long in a delicate shade of pale pink - if this is not aimed at women then I don't know what is! It has the Johnson's curly writing on it in blue and the usual little flower shaped symbol that that Johnson's products have underneath them.. There is of course all the usual bits on the back. What's in it how much it weighs the contact details an the barcode, a normal tube of hand cream really.

~*~ What is it meant to do? ~*~

Well hand creams are in general meant to make your hands smoother and just feel a lot nicer.. This one in particular claims to boost 24 hour moisture and to help stop the three signs on dryness..
- reduce skin tightness..
- reduce skin roughness..
- refresh dull looking hands..

Great claims I thought from looking at the tube, I just hoped it was just as good as it made out to be..

~*~ Does it work? ~*~

Well I was dubious at first about this hand cream given the tiny tube, but it exceeded my expectations really, I admit I hadn't taken very good care of my hands over winter and they really were beginning to suffer, my skin just looked so dull and they started look like my skin was a good five or ten years older than I am which just reminded me I needed to take more care of myself.. Even after just first applying the cream the skin looked instantly more radiant the little wrinkle type areas around my knuckles looked less harsh after having it on about five minutes - I know it's not a miracle hand cream but it sure is good..

With my hands regardless of what I've been doing my skin does get tight and it is irritating especially when you go to pick something up and oh it really does feel awful because you feel like your skin is so sore and fragile. This hand cream defiantly stops that even after you have washed your hands because that's when the dryness starts, but with the hand cram a generous amount at the start of the day and you can wash your hands a few times before you think maybe I should re-apply.

Every time I used to wash my car I would come inside and about ten minutes later my hands would feel so rough and dry, it would be a nasty feeling and only by getting them wet again could I get any relief.. So this hand cream was something of a bit of a miracle, because I could apply in the morning, with the soft white hand cream that seems to have little bits in it that help to moisturise rub into my skin, which I have to say the cream is absorbed quickly into the skin providing you apply a sort of 5 pence sized amount. The scent is also obvious, a nice floral aroma, but not too obvious that you think, what on earth is that smell?
There is no greasy residue either, you can pick up a glass as soon as you have rubbed it in and there would be no fingerprints or little greasy bits, meaning no one will know just how you got those lovely radiant, soft hands of yours.. (For the moment the 50ml tube is only 97p in Boots, so grab the bargain while you can!)

Summary: Soft hands, with a great look and no constant reapplication..
