I used to use a hand cream in a pink tube about 4 years ago. For some reason i stopped and when i saw this the other day i thought it was it. Now it either was this and they have changed the formula or i picked up the wrong thing.

What Johnsons say:
24 hour moisture hand cream leaves hands soft even after washing. It is supposed to reduce skin tightness, reduce skin roughness and refresh dull looking hands.

Cost/Consistency
The cream cost £1.95 for a 50ml pink tube. I bought mine from Boots and it is widely available at chemists/supermarkets. The cream inside is a thickish white cream. If you put a little blob on your hand and turn your hand upside down it stays put and doesnt slide off like some thinner creams. The cream is scented. I would say it is a slightly floral scent that does last on your hands after you applied. It is a soft scent that does not over power.

What i thought:
I do not deny that the cream softens your hands. Some days my hands look old (and im only 27) because they are so dry and this really improved the texture. The cream does sink in fairly fast. My only gripe is that with the incredible softness comes a greasy layer that sits on top of the skin. It means that if you apply this during the day and come to do pretty much anything you are slipping all over the place! I don't like that. Its best use i find is applying it just before bed. I put a good amount on, rub in and then let it do its magic during the night. I wake up with incredibly soft hands.

This product will soften your skin and make hands look better, but you will have greasy hands as a price to pay for the softness. So the hunt continues for my perfect pink tubed hand cream of my past!

Summary: As a night time cream fab, use in the day at your slippy peril!
