This has made a big difference to my dry, flaky hands (Johnson's 24 Hour Moisture Hand Cream)

Advantages: My hands look much better than they did before, it's affordable

Disadvantages: Not sold on the 24 hour aspect but my hands stay soft for a good while

I have had dry hands for years and hand cream seems to have very little effect on me. I was intrigued by this particular one as it claimed to provide lasting moisturisation even after you have washed your hands. This sounded perfect for my dry hands.

***The Cream***
The cream is white and is not overly greasy. It rubs in easily when I appy it to my hands and takes a few minutes to soak in properly. It has a light fragrance but nothing too strong.

***The Results***
My hands look smoother and less dry. At first, I needed to apply a good amount of the hand cream but this became less and less as the condition of my hands has improved. If your hands were dry and flaky to begin with, you will probably need to use more but you can get away with a small amount if your hands aren't too bad. After washing my hands, I feel as though I need to reapply as the skin starts to feel tight again. Because of this, I'm not sold on the claims that your hands remain fully moisurised even after washing them as I don't feel that this is the case for me. As far as hand creams go though, this is definitely one of the best that I've used and I thoroughly recommend it.

***The Price***
My tube cost just under £2 for 50ml, which I consider to be pretty good value for a hand cream that has made a big difference to the state of my hands, even if it doesn't quite live up to the 24 hour claims.

***Overall Thoughts***
I bought it on the strength of the claims that it offers moisturisation even after hand washing and while I'm not totally sold on this, I must admit that my hands don't seem to get drier after washing my hands anymore so maybe this does work better than I first anticipated in that respect. Overall, I really like this hand cream and am impressed with its effects on me.
