Advantages: Easy to apply, nice natural colour
Disadvantages: Colour might be too subtle for some
Being a bit nervous of fake tans (some very bad experiences!), but loving a tan, i decided to give this one a go.....
Something i hate about regular fake tans is that horrible biscuit smell which hangs around until you shower it off, with this, the smell is much less noticable. At first it doesn't smell of fake tan at all, but instead has a pleasant and light frangrance, but as the tanning agents start to develop, so does the smell! However, this is much more subtle than other tanning products and a definate bonus!
The colour is light and even and is noticable after only a couple of days of use, so it does build up slowly which is really nice. I have been using the product for just over a week now and have been told several times that i am looking brown!
The shades come it 2 strengths, and i have fair skin and so have been using the light to medium coloured one, which has had a nice subtle colour, but for those with darker skins or wanting a more dramatic tan, should maybe go for the darker version or else they might not notice the effects as much as those with fairer skin.
My skin was nicely moisturised by the product and it felt just as soft as after using just a regular moisturiser. So, with the added benefits of fool-proof subtle tanning i thoroughly recommend you give it a go! Also, i have sensitive skin, but because the product is Johnson's, it was very gentle and caring and i have had no reaction at all.
In addition, the price is very good, with the smaller bottle being £4.99....which is much cheaper than a bottle of good quality fake tan and moisturiser. Also, because it is a new product, there are lots of buy one get one free offers around for it, so keep your eyes peeled and take advantage....definately worth a purchase!
Summary: Colour is even and natural and very easy to apply - no streaks!
