Advantages: Fairly easy to rub on

Disadvantages: Do not wear in the heat as it runs back off!

I thought this product was the answer to my dreams.
I am pasty white and get prickly heat, so have to keep covered up most of the time in the sun.
On the approach to T in the park 2005 I decided to start building up a gradual tan with this product.
Basically you just rub a little into your skin each day to build a good looking tan (remember to get the correct colour to get the tone you want, as the bottles are for fair or dark skin etc).
It’s fairly easy to rub on but always wear latex gloves as your hands will go an orange colour and its hard to remove. I did have to ask someone else to do my back though as I couldn’t reach properly.

I did think it had a wee bit of a smell about it but they all do!
Anyway I had plans for a white T in the Park. All my clothes were white to show off my great tan.
However, summer 2005 turned out to be sooo hot. In fact it was so hot the tan ran off of me and into my clothes! What a mess I was in and my clothes were ruined. To make things worse I was at T in the Park over the weeked camping and I couldn’t scrub the rest off as it stains your skin and I ended up looking dirty and grubby for the whole weekend. I really was devastated at the time and it nearly ruined my special weekend. I can look back now and almost pee myself laughing.
I wrote to the company complaining about it and they sent me a letter with £5! I was so angry I didn’t reply.

So basically this is a good product for this country when the temp is below 20 degrees Celsius.
I wouldn’t recommend using this before going abroad to a hot country as it is not pleasant when its running off you and it’s hard to get back off once it’s on. It just makes you look really bad and streaky.

Summary: Ok product but not for hot days, look to the week ahead before you apply
