Advantages: Nice build up even
Disadvantages: Can be greasy
Johnson's holiday skin is great to use to give yourself a nice summer glow without going for that unattractive orange look!
Packaging is yellow with a glowing effect on the plastic bottle as with all similar products. The sticker label has a soft blend of yellow shades in the background and text in in pink and navy. The extra value pack has a pink highlighted corner, instead of a typical red value sign which would make it look ugly. The bottle is round and oval like with a snap top
The product comes out in a beige cream and is very moisturising, on the verge of being quite greasy so you cannot apply too much. However this does give you extremeley soft skin. The product never really goes away so id use it overnight and wash it off in the morning to keep the tan but get rid of the greasyness and fake tan smell in the day and stick to a nicer moisturiser in the daytime.
The 'subtle, fresh fragrance' isnt particularly a great one, but fake tan never smells that amazing... and for a fake tan it doesn't smell that bad. The smell is a bit like playdough and cocoa. It is recognisably fake tan though.
Johnsons offer a fair to medium skin and medium to dark skin one which gives you a choice. It isn't streaky, but can stay wet for a while which is annoying as it absorbs into your bed if you wear it overnight. Your clothes will smell of it if you wear clothes after putting it on. You need about 3 applications to really see you have a visible tan, so when using it build up and prepare for a special occassion some days before with this one. Though it does have a better effect than with some instant tanning products.
I'd recommend buying the 400ml extra value pack if you can get it, I got one from wilkinsons about £3-4 so its worth shopping around.
The product is blended with avocado and starflower extracts.
ALWAYS wash your hands after use or they will go orange!
Summary: Worth it
