Advantages: Makes my skin nice and soft; Smells lovely
Disadvantages: The tan is streaky and a bit orange after a bit; It rubs off on clothes and towels
I tried this gradual fake tan after my mate said how good it was but I don't think it gives very good results at all and even though it's good as a moisturiser it isn't very good at giving me the natural looking tan it said it would.
It's nice to put on because it smells nice and is a nice smooth cream that rubs in easily. It smells a bit like a mixture of baby lotion and fake tan and I like both these smells so think this smells wicked.
The trouble is that the tan is streaky when you've been using it for a few days and it said on the bottle that it wouldn't be streaky and would make my tan look natural. I am applying it right I know so it either doesn't like my skin or the product itself isn't as good as Johnsons are saying. I'm quite pale so used the light one but it still looked a bit weird when the tan had built up a bit and after about 2 weeks of using it it started looking a bit orange and dull.
My skin feels proper soft since I started using it though so I've carried on btu I might look into buying another Johnsons body lotion that hasn't got the fake tan in so I can still get that result.
Another thing that bugs me is that the body lotion rubs off on towels and other fabrics so I have to make sure I apply it at night and that's a pain because I like using my body lotion in the morning but I've wrecked too many white tops like that in the last 2 weeks.
It costs about £2.50 from Boots and that's a good price for Johnsons but I won't be bothering with this again because even having soft skin doesn't make up for looking like I've been tangoed!
Summary: It Makes My Skin Proper Soft But Doesn't Give A Very Good Tan
