I received a tube of Kate Moss body lotion as a birthday present - my friend knows I'm a fan of the Kate Moss perfume, so she bought me a bottle of Kate Moss EDT and this body lotion - together in a gift pack. You can purchase this lotion separately if you want, it's around £7.00, however I haven't seen it in many high street lately, so if you want a tube I advise you to shop on-line - you'll find it on eBay and Amazon.
The lotion comes in a 150ml dusky pink tube. The design is quite elegant - it is a shimmery pink colour, with a black flower design on it. The lotion looks great on the dressing table because the tube is so decretive.
I have to admit, I was a little apprehensive before I used the lotion, because I am allergic to a lot of creams and I come out in a rash if a product doesn't agree with me. This is why I tend to stick to The Body Shop when it comes to beauty products. However I needn't have worried about this lotion because it didn't irritate my skin at all.
The body lotion is a white colour and it is lightly scented - I'd say that it's a tamer version of the perfume. There are floral undertones in the lotion but it isn't too overpowering and once it has absorbed into the skin it smells fantastic.
The cream itself isn't greasy, it has a fairly thin consistency and it absorbs into the skin easily. If you use the Kate Moss perfume on a regular basis then buy this lotion because it accompanies the EDT perfectly.
I do recommend the body lotion because it smells lovely, if you see it in the shops, buy a tube - you won't be disappointed!
I bought this in TK MAXX after I got given the kate moss perfume for my 16th birthday, and my mum told me that body lotion that match your perfume last longer, so I took on her opinion and bought it and it was cheap too!
However as this body lotion comes in a 200 ml bottle, the perfume I had was 30 ml so when I finished the perfume I had lots of the body lotion left.
The tube is pink with a black rose crawling up the side (same as the perfume) this makes the product very pretty.
However, the smell of the product was very nice actually, even though it did not smell like the perfume but it did make my perfume last longer. The body lotion smells very fresh and sweet with a hint of sharp floral - just like the perfume!
But even if you wear the body lotion without the perfume, no one would notice if you were wearing the body lotion and perfume, just the perfume or just the body lotion on it's own! How good is that? I think its very good.
Personally, you will get bette results if you use both the perfume and body lotion.
Of course I would buy this product again, as I loved the perfume and it works very well with the perfume with or without! I would recommend every girl to use this product. It smells great and it's long lasting too even if you've been for a swim, a gym session but sadly it does come off when you have a shower, but I think thats good in a way cause you don't want to go to bed covered in body lotion.
After having used the Kate Moss eau de toilette, I decided to treat myself to the matching Kate Moss 200ml body lotion. I normally stick to sensitive lotions but I liked the fragrance of Kate Moss so much I thought I would try it.
The packaging is attractive, with the bottle in a nice deep pink colour with black motif design with Kate Moss clearly labelled on the front.
The lotion has a lovely floral fragrance, which wasn't too over-powering as some lotions can be. It was bright white in colour, the only downside being it was not particularly thick to apply. I found it to be a little too runny in comparison to the lotion I normally use. Having said that the lotion was really easy to apply and not messy at all.
I applied the lotion only on my legs, but found that it very quickly absorbed, which I was surprised at considering it was quite runny.
After a few days of use I found my skin was well moisturised and smooth to touch with no irritation to my skin as some other lotions have done in the past.
To be honest I was really quite impressed with the product and will no doubt buy again or ask for as a present! Another great product from the Kate Moss range.
My mum bought me this body lotion last year as a Christmas gift and I did not really start using it until a couple of months ago and to my surprise I found it to be very nice, and I never thought I would like the Kate Moss range but I really was impressed.
It comes in a dusky pink tube with black rose design on the front and the inside of the tube is a white cream which has a very nice fragrance to it, it is a very feminine smell and it is not a very thick cream in my opinion, it is a very good soft texture and an excellent quality lotion and beautifully smooth, and it is a very good quality one in my opinion.
It absorbs into the skin quite quickly and it is not at all greasy as with some other lotions I have tried in the past and this one moisturises the skin perfectly and at the moment as I am getting much older, I am finding my skin needs a little extra help than it used to need and I have been looking around for cheaper products to nourish my skin better and this one is probably one I would never have bought for myself but I am pleased my mum bought me it as the gift as I was extremely happy with the results it gave.
The lotion is very easy to massage into the skin and it did not irritate my skin at all and it left it nice and smooth and very soft and at the moment I am finding my skin on my arms and legs are the driest and this lotion has helped give it a little kick to keep those dry patches at bay.
I have always taken care of my skin, especially my face and neck area and sometimes it is really hard to choose which beauty creams to buy but I do highly recommend this lotion for anyone to try and I think it is a super gift for anyone and I am really pleased my mum bought it for me as my skin feels so smooth and soft after using this lotion.
The fragrance is a really nice feminine one and the smell lasts on the skin for quite some time and a very good quality and I love the smell it leaves on the skin.
I really did love the non greasiness with this lotion as sometimes when I apply body lotion, I sometimes am in a rush and need to go out for the day and it sometimes takes awhile to absorb some lotions but this one I can apply and get dressed almost straight away which is what I really did love about this one and I also think as I am in my mature years a little more help is needed for my skin compared to when I was younger and this one suited me perfectly.
I give this lotion 5 stars.
Thank you for reading my review.
When I received my Kate Moss Perfume it came in a gift set. Inside the gift set was the Kate Moss perfume and the body lotion to match the perfume. And I can honestly say that I love the body lotion just as much as I love the perfume (which is a lot!) The bottle is a purple colour with a black vine and rose. I think the look of this body lotion is very feminine and pretty.
I think this body lotion really smells just like the Kate Moss perfume, which is great because there are some body lotions that come with perfumes, but they don't smell anything like the perfumes. But I do find this body lotion has a little bit of a stronger scent than the perfume, not that it's not a nice smell, because it is gorgeous.
I usually put this lotion mainly on my arms and I find that this lotion is very easy to apply to your skin. Because of the consistency of the lotion, it does absorb into your skin quite quickly as I hate when the lotion takes forever to dry! But I have to say that if you're looking for a brilliant body lotion to moisturise your skin, this isn't it. So the only purpose I use this body lotion is mainly for the lovely scent.
I would defiantly recommend this perfume for anyone who has the Kate Moss perfume. Because this really goes well and I think it enhances the scent of the perfume, when you wear the perfume and body lotion together.
But once this body lotion runs out I don't think I will be buying another one, mainly because it doesn't moisturise your skin. Also another negative thing about this body lotion that it doesn't smell exactly like the perfume, but only just slightly. And that is why I'm only giving this Kate Moss body lotion 4 out of five stars.
The gift set with the 30ml and the 150ml body lotion can be bought in places like Semi-Chem when they have offers for around £15.00 in shop and they also have them in stock on the website. (Information written at time of review.)
Last Christmas I received a lovely Kate moss gift set from my parents that contained a perfume, body lotion and lovely chunky bangle. I had never had a smell of the perfume before so was rather intrigued to see what it would be like. I must admit when choosing body lotions I never go for something that has been designed by a celebrity as they are usually overpowering and not very flattering or beneficial to the skin however I have tried various celebrity perfumes and some have been nice.
The Kate moss sublime body lotion comes in a very attractive shimmering dusky pink tube with black flowering detail on it. The tube looks very elegant and it is defiantly to my taste and looks lovely on the dressing table. The tube size contains 150ml and contains a screw top lid which can get a tad bit messy when trying to screw back on with a lotioned hand.
The lotion itself is white in colour and I would say it had a medium constituency. When first applying the lotion the smell is very over powering and smells a touch different from the perfume however once settled on the skin, the smell is gorgeous. I would describe this scent as feminine, floral and slightly musky and although I absolutely love this scent I feel like it smells a little bit different to the perfume.
This lotion sinks into skin extremely well even when using quite a lot and leaves no stickiness or greasy feeling skin. Skin feels soft and smoothed after application and the scent lingers on all day. I have been asked in the past what perfume I'm wearing and I actually just have the body lotion on.
I would definitely recommend this lotion as it works very well and the scent is gorgeous. I am not too sure if it is available to buy without the perfume but I certainly hope so.
i was given this product as a gift recently and was not too sure about what to make of it.
I do not normally buy celebrity or strongly perfumed products for my skin as it can be very sensitive.
The product itself seems to be very pleasant. It has a strong musky smell, which gives a deep mysterious feel about it. The lotion is a nice consistency, not to thick or thin, and it seems to soak in relatively well.
For myself i can only use a little as it will leave my skin greasy, but this usually occurs with my skin type. The product didnt cause me any reaction however which is good as strongly perfumed products usually do.
The bottle design is pleasant to the eye and it makes a lovely gift.
My only reservation is this price. Even though you get a decent amount in the bottle it still seems a little pricey for the qauilty. The scent seems to be what you are paying for but maybe you could just buy the perfume for this?
All in all a good product that does what its supposed to and smells pleasant. However nothing makes it jump out from other products to me.
this lotion is just gorgeous, i first used it because it came as a freebie with the kate moss perfume and im usually a bit hesitant about using lotions that aren't from a skincare brand, but i was really suprised, so pleasantly suprised that i still continue to use it to this day. Firstly it smells beautiful, it smells just like the perfume but not in an overpowering way, the smell is quite subtle. As well as this it genuinely just is a really good lotion, it makes skin feel noticably softer and smoother without making it feel greasy or shiny. Also it only takes a small amount, you don't need to smother it on, its just the right soft texture so you only need a tiny amount to leave skin looking lovely. Another thing i love about this lotion is that it dries almost straight away so you don't have that horrible slippy skin that you get with some lotion. It really is just a lovely smelling, skin softening, fast acting lotion and i use it daily.
This is the first body lotion that the supermodel has launched. I didn't buy it for myself but was given it as a gift and i have to say i wouldn't have chosen it for myself because for some reason i'm not that keen on products that are branded with celebrity names (i really don't know why!). I'm not one of Kate Moss's biggest fans either although i have to say i absolutely love the packaging, i think it's really feminine and i can see how it would catch someone's eye on the shelves. It claims to deeply hydrate the skin but unfortunately i'm not convinced. It has a subtle perfume which is quite pleasant but the consistency is quite runny and milky and although this means a little goes a long way i didn't really feel as though my skin was moisturised after using it - my skin still felt quite tight. Perhaps it is more suited to people with oily/combination skin types. I do think it's a little pricey as a moisturiser but as a product for layering fragrance i think it makes a nice addition to the perfume - if you like the smell enough to wear it regularly.
I love to buy body lotions, and I love the smell of them too. I usually get them for Christmas but this year I didn't, I got Boots vouchers instead, so I went and bought this! I think it cost about £12 which I thought was really expensive and I would never spend this much if I was spending my own money. I do tend to try and use them everyday, although some days I forget, but generally I get a good idea of how well they work and which ones I like.
I liked the design of this lotion, it comes in a pink tube with a black rose on the side. It looks quite classy and I was attracted to it on the shelves purely from the packaging. It has a screw top lid and its easy to use, the lotion squeeses out easily. It just looks like any normal lotion, white and quite thick and easy to apply. It absorbs into the skin well and I thought the lotion lasted me a long time as you don't have to use much in one go. It smells really nice too, I think it could be a flowery scent, although its not really too clear what it is, but I know I like it.
After a few days my skin was noticeably softer, and I could tell the lotion was really working. It lasted me about 2 months and I used it almost every day, so I thought that was really good. Overall I think its a really good lotion, moisturises well, smells nice, but is a bit overpriced for what it is. You can get the same quality of lotion for less money.
I wrote about the Kate Moss perfume I bought myself as an early Christmas present a while ago, and this is the matching body lotion that came with it.
I do own a lot of body lotions and I always mean to apply them regularly, but inevitably I forget or I can't be bothered, or more recently it's too cold to have any part of my body exposed for long enough to actually apply it! Lately though, I've been exercising more, and I want to keep my skin supple to prevent stretch marks, so I'm trying really hard to be good and apply it regularly.
This lotion comes in a dusky pink tube with a black rose design along one side. This is the same design that you will find on the box the matching perfume comes in, and I think it looks quite nice and contemporary. The lotion does have a screw top lid, which is my only real niggle with the packaging. I think if it had a flip top lid it would be a lot more convenient, as screwing the lid back on with hands that still have lotion on them has caused the lid to look a little discoloured.
The lotion is white and has a fairly thin consistency. I wouldn't say it was runny, but only a small amount is needed to cover a large area of skin. One thing I really like about this lotion, is that it sinks into the skin really quickly. In fact I'd say it absorbs within about thirty seconds, and there's no greasy feeling or stickiness to the skin, which means that you can get dressed straight after applying it, something that's quite important when it's cold or you're just in a rush.
The scent of this is nice, but I personally didn't think it captured the exact same scent as the perfume, which I loved. When first applying the lotion, the smell is actually quite strong and overpowering, but it does calm down after it has been on the skin a little while.
Like the perfume, the scent of this is feminine and quite soft, but with the perfume I felt you could smell a sweet rose scent, which was missing here. There is a floral smell to this, but unfortunately, it seems to be overcome with a weird soapy type of aroma, and also it has a little bit of a chemical type edge, which is a shame, as I loved the perfume, and would have liked (not to mention, expected) the lotion to be the same.
As a lotion, this is good, like I said there is no stickiness or residue left on the skin after application, and it leaves the skin feeling very moisturised, soft and supple.
The lotion costs £12.23 from Boots, but if you go to Superdrug you can get it in a set with the matching perfume for just £9.99. I got mine in the gift set, but I do think it's way overpriced when bought separately.
Overall, I have to say I was quite disappointed with this lotion. I'm still going to give it three stars because in terms of a body lotion, it's quite good - absorbs quickly, no stickiness, and leaves skin feeling soft. The main downside for me though, is the scent. It's not really anything like the perfume, and has a weird chemical overtone. So, although I wouldn't hesitate to buy the perfume again, I couldn't imagine that I'll be buying another body lotion to go with it.
