I love it and think it is well worth the money

I have always been a huge fan of body lotions as I love to apply them to my skin after I have juts had a soak in the bath or after my shower. I couldn't imagine never using a body lotion and I have a slight 'panic' if I think I am running out of my favourites and will have to stock up - I am strange like that!

I have been using Lacoste Touch of Pink Body Lotion for just over two years now but wasn't aware of it before then though I understand it is not a new fragrance, and has in face been around since 2004 when it was first launched. I first bought this body lotion from Boots and was attracted by the vibrant pink chunky looking bottle at the time - that, plus the fact that I had some Boots Points I wanted to use up so I thought it was the perfect thing I needed to cheer me up.

The first tube I used lasted me about four months, and the size wasn't too big, either at 15ml. The price at the time was around the same as it sells for now, which is £18, so no guys, it isn't cheap body lotion but it is a NICE one to use for special treats or just occasionally.

As I say, I was primarily attracted to the bright pink tube which really did stand out on the shelf and I remarked to my friend that as I already had the perfume and knew the smell was gorgeous, that I thought I'd try the body lotion too. It is just so feminine to look at and although the packaging is plain, it does have the Lacoste logo on the front of the tube and it is not too fussy or intricate to look at, which I love.

I understand you can also buy shower gel in this range and have seen this as part of a three part gift set, though I have not personally used the shower gel, I'm betting it is as nice as the body lotion and the perfume.

Lacoste Touch of Pink Body Lotion is so easy to dispense. You just pull back the flip top lid and squeeze a bit out into the palm of your hand. I like to apply this to my entire body folks and I always start at my feet and work my way up. I love the fact that it is so easily absorbed and it never once has left me feeling sticky, tacky or greasy afterwards and it feels so light and fresh.

What does it smell like, I hear you ask? Well, let me try to describe to you but it's hard unless you smell it yourself and I probably won't do it justice. It is light and fresh and floral and I can always detect the smell of musk, vanilla and jasmine. For me, those are the overriding aromas of this lovely lotion though probably someone else might be able to detect more subtle whiffs in the background, these are the ones which are always at the forefront of my mind when I am applying it.

Once it has been applied, I don't hang around to wait for it to dry or anything, I dress and I'm ready to go and it honestly doesn't feel like my clothes are sticking to my body.

The consistency is thick and creamy and not at all runny like a lot of body lotions can be and I think it is this which also makes it dry really fast and helps it to be absorbed quickly into the skin.

What I especially love to do is to 'layer' the body lotion with my perfume and that way I find that it lasts so much longer than simply using just the one product. I am often complimented when I use Lacoste Touch of Pink Body Lotion together with the perfume and it is something which although I don't use every day, I am happy to pay the slightly higher price tag for something that smells so classy.

Highly recommended as a lovely lotion and a lovely smell to boot.

        Disadvantages

        Gotta have it!

I received the Lacoste Touch of Pink body lotion in a gift set (along with a 50ml bottle of the perfume) from my best friend one Christmas. I absolutely adore the perfume so this was in theory an ideal gift and I was really looking forward to using it.

The body lotion is ideal for what we call layering - what I mean by that, is applying the same fragrance in different forms to provide lasting power. Ideally you would use the shower gel, followed by the body lotion, followed by the perfume, and this would give an overall body scent and make the scent last longer.

The lotion comes in a hot pink plastic tube which is fairly big, with a white lid that flips open. The packaging is bold and very pink but also very basic. It follows the same theme as the rest of the products in the range - pink with the white Lacoste logo. The lotion is very light and could be carried in your handbag if you wanted to. It's a very girly looking item, just like the shower gel and perfume, and would look nice on your dressing table.

The lotion itself is very thick and creamy - much better than some of the other perfume lotions I have tried. This means you end up using a lot less and it lasts a lot longer, great when it is so expensive! It smells exactly like the perfume and absorbs really well and really quickly - no longer am I getting into my clothes with damp skin! It absorbs well, no greasy residue that you can see and no greasy residue that you can feel which is a big plus for me!

When I applied the lotion for the first time I was very pleased at how quickly it absorbed and how nice it smelled - it really is just like the perfume and even on it's own (ie. without using the perfume as well) it lasted a few hours, leaving a subtle scent on my skin. I would consider using the lotion on its own as a daytime fragrance! I have quite dry skin in some areas, particularly my shoulders for some reason - and this lotion moisturised them nicely, much much better than I would have expected. Normally such lotions are just there to fragrance your skin and don't do much by the way of moisturising, but this one really did moisturise my skin.

The lotion has the same notes as the perfume:

top notes: cardamon seeds, orange and coriander,
heart notes: jasmine, violet and carrot seed oil
        base notes: vanilla and sandlewood

For me, the vanilla and jasmine really stood out just like with the perfume. The only difference between the fragrance of the lotion and the fragrance of the perfume is that the lotion is much more subtle - don't get me wrong, you can still smell it, but it isn't as strong as the perfume - then again, you wouldn't want it to be! It's a light, subtle fresh smelling scent which is gorgeous. It is a floral scent, very light and feminine, and ideal for summer.

You get 12 months in which to use up the lotion, and in my experience even with daily use you could make it last 4 months easily. So it really is worth the money!

The lotion individually retails at approx £18 in Boots for 150ml. However if you buy the gift set, you pay £33 for the lotion and a 50ml bottle of the perfume which is a complete bargain as the perfume itself is normally around £33, so you're basically getting the lotion for free!

At the moment the gift set retails for approx £33, but if you wanted to buy the perfume seperately you could expect to pay approx £22 for 30ml, ranging to £50 for 90ml.

I absolutely adore the fragrance and the lotion - it does everything you could want - it moisturises, fragrances, absorbs quickly, absorbs well. What more could you ask for!

          Recommended :)

For Christmas last year I was given the Lacoste Touch of Pink perfume gift set. Inside the dark and light pink packaging was the fragrance itself, and two 50ml sized bottles which were the Touch of Pink body lotion and shower gel. Today I thought I would review the body lotion.

The body lotion is packaged in a hot pink bottle with a baby pink screw on lid. It looks really girly. The Lacoste logo is at the top of the bottle and horizontally down the side of the bottle reads 'touch of pink'. Then at the bottom of the bottle it tells you that it is a body lotion, and says how much body lotion the bottle contains.

The body lotion itself comes out a white colour. To use this what I do personally is squeeze out a generous amount and rub it in all over my body. Immediately when I do this I can smell very clearly the touch of pink fragrance. The body lotion absorbs quite quickly and after I have first applied it seems to have a subtle shimmer that appears all over my skin.

The ways in which the body lotion affects my body are; it leaves a gorgeous, lasting fragrance which is the beautiful touch of pink by lacoste. It also moisturises and gives a subtle shimmer.
I am really loving this body lotion and I like it so much I save it only for really special occasions, because when it comes to buying a new bottle, which would have to be the 150ml bottle, it will be really expensive -it is nearly £20 from amazon.

Overall I love this body lotion and would recommend it, especially if you already use the touch of pink fragrance as your daily perfume. The only disadvantage for me is the price as it is very expensive in my opinion.

A Great Way To Prolong Your Perfume

I recieved this body lotion in a gift set along with a bottle of the touch of pink perfume a few months for my birthday, i have worn the perfume for years so i new i loved the fragrance but i never tried the lotion before. Heres what i thought...

The bottle is a large wide tube shape, in a bright pink colour (the same as the perfume box) with the lacoste name and logo in white. The packaging is really girly and noticeable, and you can tell its the same brand as the perfume. The body lotion itself is white and creamy and goes on really well and absorbs into the skin easily. The scent is obviously the same as the perfume and is a really girly, light and floral. I presumed that the smell on the body lotion wouldn't be that strong but if anything it is stronger!! Unlike the perfume the smell is very strong when you put it on and then fades quite quickly to a more subtle smell. The smell does last a long time and if you use it with the perfume they compliment each other really well and makes the scent last a really liong time.

As a body lotion its not great, it feels smooth when you put it on but doesn't moisturise your skin that well, but well enough as i think your suppose to buy this for its scent rather than for being a great moisturiser.

I would reccomend this lotion if you want to have a very light 'Lacoste Touch of Pink' scent or to compliment the perfume and make it last longer.

          x Thanks For Reading x

Gives a great just stepped out of the shower feel

I have always associated Lacoste with clothing and spotswear and had never really considerd trying any of their range till a friend came over wearing Lacoste Red. If you have yet to experience that then I suggest you do, as its a great smelling mens fragrance. Once I realized how lovely the brands scents were I made sure to put some of them on my xmas list!

René Lacoste the brands namesake, also a famous tennis ace, was part of the team that won the Davis cup against the USA in 1927. Dubbed as 'The Alligator' by the press, a friend of Rene's capitalized on this and made a blazer for him that bore the now famous alligator logo. He wore it on court and the rest is now history! The brand was launched and has branched out into a variety of fashion ranges including fragrance for men and for women.

            **********************************************************
The Lacoste Touch Of Pink Body Lotion is lush! I got 2 small tubes of the lotion within a xmas gift set and I must say its lovely. I was wondering what to wear today, as often some fragrances are more suited to warm days than others. But this is warming up nicely, just like the England footie team who are playing right now!

Lacoste Touch of Pink was first introduced in 2004, yet its taken me all this time to really give it a try. The lotion has a nice light texture to it and was easy to apply. It didn't take long at all for it to be absorbed and left a lovley soft but fresh fragrance behind. Its moisturising but not oily on the skin so doesn't mark your clothing.

            **********************************************************
The product comes in a bright pink and white squeezy tube, with a handy twist top. Its easy to squeeze out as much or as little as you need and storage is simple, as you can stand the lotion on the lid and keep it with your other scented lotions on the dressing table.

The lotion is not coloured pink, its plain creamy white and feels nice and cooling on the skin. The scent is very in keeping with the name. I feel this is a very pink scent. Not in a flowery girly pink way, but more in a soft fresh soapy way. In fact it seems to me to give off that, just stepped out of the shower floral freshness, that is just right to wear on a warm summers day.

            *********************************************************
The lotion is a complimentary mix of green coriander leaf and citrusy blood orange. Cardamom, soft warm musk, exotic jasmine and a touch of warm vanilla are amongst the flavours in the body lotion. Its so light and fresh that think its more of a day time scent, but it could be worn for evening wear if you wanted.

On its own a 150ml tube of Lacoste Touch of Pink retails for anything from £9.99 to £15.99. Its always best to keep and eye out for gift sets as they often contain a mix of body care products as well as fragrance which make it perfect for fragrance layering. I am pleasantly surprised by the Lacoste Touch of Pink Boy Lotion and think you may be too!

I think 4 stars is a good rate for this, as its a really nice scented lotion.

              Disadvantages

use on top of other moisturising products

This cream really does compliment the perfume without the overpowering smell which you tend to get when walking past people covered in practically a whole bottle of perfume. It has a lovely musty sweet scent and leaves my arms and hand feeling lovely and smelling gorgeous. The one problem i did have with this is it doesn't seem to hydrate the skin for more than thirty minutes, so you have to reapply even though the scent is still present. It's not to be expected that the cream will be fantastically softening etc like other brands such as E45 but the smell is lovely and girly and i would recommend this to anyone up to the age of around 45. However use this on top of other moisturising products in order to keep the skin soft and smelling like a goddess. Overall this cream is an essential for anyone who owns the lacoste touch of pink perfume, but this will not keep your skin soft for long.

              Advantages

              Disadvantages

Good points, bad points, all depends on your skin type - not for sensitive skin.

I recieved this body lotion as a gift in a gift set, you can buy the perfume and the body wash etc. I love the make of Lacoste and have for a while.

This body lotion doesn't suit my skin type, it may with other people's skin type but when i apply it, the cream immediately irritates my skin and my skin stings, goes red and is itchy. I think it does this because it is so perfumed. This cream has such a strong smell and smells exactly like the perfume which is great if you do not have sensitive skin because it does smell gorgeous.

When i was brought this gift set it was £30 i think but this was a couple of years ago. The body cream does look nice, it's very girlie and pink. It smooths onto your skin easily and rubs in easily, soaking up very quickly. It does feel abit greasy, however it does leave my skin soft. Bad points and good points. So my low marking is the fact that it irritates my skin too much that it does more damage than good and thats not what a body cream should be about.

              Advantages

              Disadvantages

very good lotion for any type of skin..

For knowing the product, its comapny is the main thing,,Lacoste is a company that originates from France in 1933. It has a logo of Green crocodile on its products. Its qulaity is superb and the well known company Proctor and Gamble is the license holder for its fragrant products.
For body lotion Lacoste introduced its touch of pink range in 2004., the scent strength of this lotion is moderate which can be most suitable to youths or those who are looking for a average smell lotion.
The lotion is good enough to suit for any skin type like normal, those having dry skin and oily too as it does not leave any oil after application, and the good part is it has no side effects so that it can be suitable to sensitive skins also. It gives a very smooth touch after application and a little amount is enough to use.
As the name indiactes pink is for a very delicate and softer feeling., that lasts for about 5-6 hours.
It fragrance notes are that of sandal wood, coriander leaf, touch of vanilla, blood orange, cardamom seed, jasmine , etc...much similar to the touch of pink perfume., so it can perfectly suitable to those who use its the perfume also.
150ml pack of the this body lotion ranges from about 10 to 12 pounds which is worth buying for its quality.

              thanks for going through..

***Lacoste Touch of pink bodylotion ***

Since receiving this for christmas about three years ago it has been my favourite scent,i love everything in this range. Part of the best perfume range out "touch of..." range this scent has a lovely smell without being too strong or sweet. for those of you that are interested lacoste lists the ingrediants as including blood orange, coriander, jasmine, violet, sandalwood and vanilla.

Bodylotion -I am not a big fan of bodylotion but i did quite like this one.The bottle itself is very easy to open and close, and it is very easy for you to get the exact amount you want out of it. The lotion feels very light and absorbs into your skin nicely, leaving it smelling nice and feeling soft.Another thing i can say is that it should be fine for those of you that have sensitive skin as i am allergic to a lot of products (have psoriasis etc) and found this okay.

There are also shower gels and deoderants out for this range but as i haven't tried them i cant comment on them

Price-I think this body lotion is reasonably priced. I would say if you are going to buy the perfume as well though buy a gift set as it works out much cheaper!!

                Advantages

                Disadvantages

a great smelling body lotion which also moisturises and softens your skin

Lacoste Touch of Pink is a fragrance which was released in 2004; as well as the perfume you can also purchase Touch of Pink Shower Gel and Body Lotion to layer and compliment the fragrance of the perfume. People who have dry skin and find that the perfume doesn't have particularly good staying power on them would benefit from using the complimentary shower gel and body lotion before applying the perfume as this would gave the scent a base to layer itself upon therefore increasing the longevity of the perfume fragrance. All peoples skin types are different and perfumes, body lotions, shower gels etc act differently on each individual because of the different oils in our skin.

As the name of the fragrance suggests Lacoste Touch Of Pink Body Lotion is supplied in a bright pink coloured plastic tube which has a rather chunky white plastic flip top lid. The packaging design is rather plain and simple and doesn't have much details or design on it, basically the packaging just carries the Lacoste emblem on the front of it and states that the product is in-fact a body lotion. Providing the packaging is rather simply designed I actually think that it is rather eye-catching and feminine looking because of the bright pink colouring which is used.

The body lotion is easily dispensed from the tube by gently squeezing it until you have the desired amount. When I dispensed the body lotion from the tube I was immediately impressed by the consistency of it because it was really nice thick and creamy. Normally when I purchase body lotions which compliment a perfume I am sometimes disappointed by the consistency of them because they are either too thin and runny and difficult to apply or they have really horrible fragrances which smell nothing like the matching perfume. But with Lacoste Touch of Pink Body Lotion I was impressed with everything because it also smelled nice.

The thick consistency of the body lotion meant that I didn't have to use a lot of it on my body because of the thickness a little of it spread a long way. When I am applying a body lotion I like to start at my feet and gradually work my way up my body applying the body lotion in small circular motions so as I am evenly distributing the body lotion onto my skin. The Lacoste Touch Of Pink Body Lotion is easily absorbed into my skin and it is dry almost instantly, so there is no need to wait around for it to soak in. Another think which I thought was really good about the body lotion was the fact that it didn't leave a sticky or greasy residue on my skin, nor did it leave my skin looking shiny and oily.

After the first application of the Lacoste Touch Of Pink Body Lotion I noticed that my skin felt very soft and smooth which is unusual for some fragranced body lotions which compliment perfumes as these normally only fragrance your skin. The fragrance from the body lotion lingered on my skin for a good few hours after I applied it; I would say that the fragrance lasted on my skin for approximately 4 hours or so before it gradually faded away. However If I used the Touch Of Pink Shower Gel before applying the Body Lotion then the fragrance lingered on my skin for over five hours.

The scent which the body lotion leaves on my skin is gorgeous, it has a really light, sweet, slightly fruity aroma. The body lotion smells almost identical to the Touch Of Pink Perfume the only difference being is the fact that the body lotion has a lighter subtler aroma. The body lotion smells mainly of Violet, Jasmine, Vanilla, Musk and a very subtle Orange aroma. I think that the Vanilla, Violet and Orange give the fragrance its very sweet nature where as the Jasmine adds a little floral twist and the Musk adds depth and warmth to the aroma of the body lotion. I think that it is a very nice fragrance which is really feminine and light, and combined with the shower gel and perfume I think that Touch Of Pink makes the perfume perfect for daytime use, especially in the summer months.

Touch Of Pink is described as having blends of Coriander, Blood Orange, Cardamom, Jasmine, Violet, Carrot Seed, Sandal Wood, Vanilla and Musk. Although not all of the fragrance notes are identifiable when wearing the body lotion, however when wearing the perfume nearly all of the fragrance notes are identifiable

Lacoste Touch Of Pink Body Lotion can be bought from most department stores or perfume counters such as Debenhams, Boots etc although the price may differ depending on where you purchase it from. A 150ml tube of the body lotion costs £18 from Boots although if you purchase the Touch Of Pink Gift set then you get the body lotion and a 50ml bottle of Touch Of Pink Eau De Toilette for £33 which means that you are actually getting the body lotion for free as a 50ml bottle of the perfume will set you back £34 itself.

A 150ml tube of Touch Of Pink body lotion should last approximately three or four months if you are using it regularly on a daily basis. However if you are only going to be using it every now and again then it will last a lot longer, once the tube of body lotion is opened then you have 12 months to use it before it needs to be discarded and thrown out.

The prices for the body lotion, shower gel and perfume are as follows and the prices have been taken from the Boots website.

Touch Of Pink Eau De Toilette 50ml £34
Touch Of Pink Eau De Toilette 90ml £44
Touch Of Pink Shower Gel 150ml £16
Touch Of Pink Body Lotion 150ml £18

                Touch Of Pink Gift Set £34 (£48 when bought separately £15 saving{150ml body lotion & 50ml EDT})

I think that Touch Of Pink is a really good body lotion which not only fragrances your skin but also leaves it feeling and looking great. Even although it is a bit more expensive compared to other high street branded body lotions I will still continue to purchase it as I love the fragrance of it and it also layers the scent of the perfume giving it more staying power on my skin. I also found that the body lotion was particularly good for rubbing on the dry skin on my elbow as it stopped it from itching and it also helped it clear up quicker.
