With my skin moist from a warm shower I love to rub this body scrub all over my body. It makes me feel soooo good as the gritty particles make my skin tingle and come alive. I can see why it is called 'Energising'. I feel ready to go after my self massage, it helps me to believe I can achieve anything. Yes, I can have it all! The smell or perfume is very heady and all adds to the enjoyment of using the product. The only negative point is that it is quite expensive at around £18 a time. This means that unfortunately I can't really use it every day as I would like. So I save it for special self indulgent sessions twice a week. I'm sure that it keeps my skin so very soft and nice to touch. Even my elbows, knees and feet are very smooth. The scrub is full of 'good' things like apricot oil, jojoba, lemon and apple extracts plus a nice helping of vitamin E. 'E' for energy that's what I believe. Lovely smell, feels great to use, leaves my skin soft to the touch all over. What more could a girl want from her power shower?! Go on pleasure yourself with this lovely product, don't worry about the cost, it's worth it.

I absolutely love the smell of this product – it is uplifting, fresh & definitely helps your get up & go to come back. I’ve bought other products in this range & was keen to try the body scrub. The packaging is gorgeous and the active aromatherapy really works. The scrub contains vitamin E, a smoothing agent and a moisturizing agent which leaves your skin feel lovely, smooth & soft. It is also makes you feel very fresh & clean and is great for getting bits like your elbows nice & smooth. It is quite expensive but I’ve found a bit goes quite a long way and I tend to use on days when I’m particularly feeling sluggish when I wake up.

It *is* actually called "Aromatonic" but never mind. I first tried this product in a sample kit, which I was given as part of the Lancome “Get Vital” event which finished back in June. I then managed to win myself a full sized product in their online game on the site (http://www.lancome.com) - look out for future prize-winning games. Usually a hefty £19.50 in the shops, the energising body scrub is definitely worth saving up for (probably better in fact, to wait until one of the Lancome freebie offers (there's one at the moment at Harrods, and one coming up at the end of August at Boots) – where you buy 2 or more products and get a free gift and lots of trial size products free). You do get a big 200ml pot for your money though, but at nearly £20 you’d have to! It was probably the smell more than anything else, which attracted me first to this product. It is hard to describe, but smells kind of citrusy and really wakes you up when you get a whiff. It contains wonderful gorgeous stuff like: Apple extract, lemon peel extract, apricot kernel oil, jojoba oil and sugar cane extract. It also contains vitamin E, and from the first application, it smoothes, revitalises, moisturises and tones the skin. It’s particularly good for use on areas of rough skin, such as elbows, knees and heels as well. I usually apply the scrub to damp skin when I’m in the shower, and massage the gritty texture into my skin. If you use it probably once or twice weekly, you really start to see the results. Your skin will feel smoother, *and* the bathroom smells great after you’ve used it!
