Advanced Tartar Control Listerine is definitely the strongest-tasting Listerine I've ever used, and probably the strongest kind of mouthwash full stop. I can imagine some people preferring a milder wash, as the experience of gargling this can border on the painful! However, the flavour is pleasant and it certainly leaves your mouth feeling refreshed and clean, and the stingyness makes it an excellent wake-me-up in the morning. Being quite lazy I sometimes forget to use the mouthwash, but have noticed that when I bother to use it regularly my teeth are noticeably whiter, my breath is fresher, and my mouth feels cleaner and smoother - moreso than when I've used ... What is it? ******** A dental mouthwash What does it do? ************* It claims to help prevent and reduce plaque and tartar build up, helps to kill bacteria between the teeth, freshen breath and also keep teeth naturally white. This also claims to reduce plaque by up to 56% more than brushing alone. How does it work? *************** Listerine recommends using the mouthwash at least twice a day - particularly effective after brushing and flossing. Pour about 20ml (2 tablespoonfuls) into a glass tumbler, rinse around the teeth and gums for around 30 seconds, gargle and then spit out. Though it ... Read the complete review

I have a stringent brushing, flossing and mouth washing routine because I simply hate the thought of having things stuck to my teeth or talking to someone and they can't face you because your breath is that bad so when I saw the ad`s and read all the good things being said about Listerine advanced tartar control I had to give it a try. It comes in the same shaped bottle as all the other Listerine's and is available in two sizes, the one I bought being the 250ml bottle at a cost of £1 from my local poundland. My first try of this stuff came a few days after purchasing it because I had a little drop of my Colgate mouthwash still left, when the morning to open ... Read the complete review

A fairly newly introduced product in the UK market is Listerine Tartar Control antiseptic mouthwash. A bit of a mouthful, but one that serves the health of your mouth and teeth right. I started using and still am Listerine some years ago, and have been kept satisfied with it. Sincerely, I wouldn't say or I wouldn't know if it actually has any differences when compared with other mouthwashes found in the market. What I can easily say is that after some years of use and in conjunction with daily brushing, I have not yet experienced much of toothaches so far. It does give you a fresh breath also, which can go a long way especially in the ... Read the complete review

As a qualified and registered dental nurse i am very regimental about my oral health routine, i brush in the morning for the reccommended 2 minutes with a fluoride toothpaste, floss my teeth, and then rinse with my old faithful Listerine tartar control. Listerine comes in different flavours and each one is designed to prevent different dental ailments. Listerine tartar control is designed to reduce the build up of plaque on the teeth and prevent the build up of Tartar (hence the name), plaque is caused by food debris in the mouth mixing quite happily with salvia, this will cause the sticky build up of plaque on the teeth and if its not removed it will become ...
