Listerine Total Care

Although I am ancient I have managed to look after my teeth well enough to still have them and for them to be in good condition. I am very self conscious of having bad breath and hate talking up close with anyone if I haven't brushed, flossed and used my mouth wash. I don't tend to stick to any one product when thinking about toothpaste or mouthwash and find most to work equally well. -Appearance- Listerine total is a unique purple colour which immediately put me in mind of bubblegum; I was relieved to find that the it was the same fresh minty taste I had become accustomed to from the regular range. It features a shiny silver label featuring the 6 product's claims. Years ago people cleaned their teeth and that was their dental hygiene for the day done, but things have changed a lot since then and now there are flosses, mouthwashes, teeth whiteners ect.. the list goes on and on.Not only are there mouthwashes, but so many to choose from the discount range for a few pennies to the top of the market range costings £'s. Now this particular one Listerine Total Care costs £3.99 ( because this is Total Care it is about £1 dearer than the usual Listerine) which puts it at the top end of the market, but you can get it on special sometimes in the supermarkets in a B.O.G.O.F so thats when I stock up. I picked up this mouthwash as Listerine is a brand I trust and their products tend to suit me as I find many can be too strong. Although it wasn't on offer, I thought it sounded like the best buy as it says '6 in 1 ', though they can say whatever they like on the packaging to lure you in, but branded products aren't necessarily better. Listerine Total Care Mouthwash is sold in a miniature bottle, a 250ml bottle (costing around £2.39) and a 500ml bottle (£3.83). There are often offers on Listerine products, but the prices I've given are from Tesco as they're slightly cheaper than Boots. Listerine Total Care Mouthwash is one of a selection of Listerine mouthwashes which are made by Johnson and Johnson. I selected this one over the others in the range because of it's claims of having "6 benefits in 1". These are the reduction of plaque, healthy gums, strengthening teeth, preventing tartar, killing 99.9% of bacteria, and giving fresh breath.
