I love Liz Earle !! I love her quality ingredients ethos and her background in beauty was always bound to serve her well when it came to producing good quality products. However, I have a love/hate relationship with some of her products though, i.e I wish my skin would love them, but it doesn't and this is one of them. That said, I have friends who adore it and others who are indifferent, but hey it would be boring if we were all the same. Now, whilst I have combination skin prone to break outs on the face, I have VERY, VERY, VERY dry hands and my skin cells seem unable to retain much moisture !! There are some salon treatments that can help, but in the ... Read the complete review

As a Liz Earle fan I was looking forward to trying this new launch - but was very disappointed. The cream looks, smells and feels lovely. It has a nice light consistency and scent. But it doesn't actually moisturise. On fact, after using it for a few days my hands were dryer than ever. The reason, I believe, is that it contains a high quantity of talc. That will make it feel nice and non-greasy when it is applied - as, indeed it does. Talc, however, is renowned for its moisture absorbing properties, so its inclusion in the product in this way is probably what causes the problem. ... Read the complete review

I am allergic to many soaping agents, nickel, chemicals etc. If my hands touch certain cleaning products, depilatory creams etc. or my hands spend to long in hot soapy water or handling loose change they react really badly. I have always used cortisone cream once a reaction has occurred and stayed well away from hand creams as I believed they might cause more problems than they would help. About a year ago when I bought a TSV on QVC of Liz Earles products I received a small tube of her hand repair. On the show she mentions that her products do not aggravate eczema etc. so I thought if I'm going to try hand cream this would be a great one to start ... Read the complete review

'Stone the crows!' I hear you cry. 'There's a bloke writing a Liz Earle review!' Yes, yes, you're perfectly right. I'm a bloke. What's more, I'm a bloke who is a complete ignoramus when it comes to matters of health and beauty. However, one thing I do know is what reacts well with my skin, and as someone who can suffer quite badly from eczema, I know full well what works for me and what doesn't. Liz Earle products in general are very good, and my mum has worked on finding something that is gentle to my skin whilst giving it all the care and attention it needs. She regularly gives me Liz Earle products as a present, and one we constantly have around the house ... Read the complete review

I had to write and tell you all about this excellent hand cream that I use! I love Liz Earle products (as you may already know from reading some of my other ops). They are wonderful, smell nice, use great ingredients and (shock horror!) do what they are supposed to do! The hand repair was launched around 18 months ago and having very dry skin on my hands I just had to try it. My hands used to look older than my age, dry and cracked. Having used many of the products in the Liz Earle range and loving them I had high hopes for this product. The cream comes in a lovely blue/grey tube. It is a very simple design and not overly femine, so men could ... Read the complete review
