Advantages: smells nice, lasts ages, really works
Disadvantages: expensive
I had to write and tell you all about this excellent hand cream that I use! I love Liz Earle products (as you may already know from reading some of my other ops). They are wonderful, smell nice, use great ingredients and (shock horror!) do what they are supposed to do! The hand repair was launched around 18 months ago and having very dry skin on my hands I just had to try it. My hands used to look older than my age, dry and cracked. Having used many of the products in the Liz Earle range and loving them I had high hopes for this product. The cream comes in a lovely blue/grey tube. It is a very simple design and not overly femine, so men could keep this in there desk at work and not have too many sniggers!! The tube is 50ml, some people may think that £7.50 for that much cream is expensive, however, it takes me around 3 months to get through the tube because the product is so concentrated you really dont need much for it to do the job. I have also tryed other creams that are cheaper, they never work. Also I have used ones that are more expensive like the l'occitane shea butter cream thats £12.50 and although for a thick night time treatment this may be good as a daytime non greasy hand cream none beat the hand repair. The ingredients used in this product are very high grade. The active ingredients include ; echinacea, hops and beta-carotene together with the pure essential oils of bergamont, chamomile, orange and lavender. The cream smells devine (if you like the smell of essential oils). The cream is thick, but not so thick that it dosent soak in. It is wonderful. From the moment you rub this cream into your hands they start to feel nourished and well cared for! They also look better, from dry and greyish to a lovely youthful pink colour. There is no greasy feel to your hands after use which is brilliant, so many times before I have used a cream and then you try to write after and the pen slips right out of y
our hand. The effects of this cream last for ages, however, if you do wash your hands for best effect you will need to reapply. Also if you have sensitive skin this product will not irritate, my daughter who has eczema has used this product will no adverse reaction. I started using this cream from the launch and I have never looked back, although I must admit the price did put me off slightly in the beginning. If your hands are really suffering then don't let the price put you off, in my opinion it is money well spent. There are only a few outlets for the Liz Earle products and they are; The Liz Earle website, www.lizearle.com QVC, www.qvcuk.com If you are lucky enough to go over to the Isle of Wight then she does have a small outlet there this is in Ryde or you can order this item or a catalogue for any other items on the phone number, 01983813913 If you have any further questions about this or any other Liz Earle product then I recommend ringing the Liz Earle customer care line on , 01983813999. The staff on this number are very helpful and knowledgeable about all the products and how they can help you. Ali

- 24/10/08 I am already an avid Liz Earle fan, its good to see that there are so many others out there who recognize quality and value. |

- 25/09/02 I haven't heard of Liz Earle either, so I'm definitely going to look at the website. I find most handcreams have an offputting smell and the fragrance free ones are a bit boring (there's no pleasing some people!) |

- 13/07/02 Never heard of Liz Earle products... so a very interesting opinion. I tend to buy products, then forget to use them. I'll be sorry when I get 'prune hands' (dread the thought!). |
